"Sorry, I Was Getting Bored."

The crowd sits in silence, staring in awe as blood pools around Todoroki and robots rush him away. Once Todoroki is out of sight, the crowd mutters to each other, the questions piling up until they're a roaring mass of noise.

"What just happened?"

"Who won?"

"How can that kid be so ruthless?"

"How'd he even get into a school for heroes?"

"He's strong, that's for sure."

"WE'RE GONNA TAKE A SHORT BREAK, YALL!" Present Mic yells, interrupting their conversations momentarily.

"But who won?"

"Yeah, who's moving on?"

"That kid won't move on, will he?"

"He's too violent!"

"He'll never make it as a hero!"

"Stop." The stadium goes silent as Aizawa's very annoyed voice rings through the air. "That kid got in this school for a reason. He's fighting his own battles, battles deep down that you wouldn't be able to imagine. So if you seriously don't think he can be a hero because of his own personal battle, well, shame on you. Because he's giving it his all." This silenced the crowd's questions.

There was a short intermission while workers clear the arena of the ice and dried blood.

TAKUSAN'S POV

I drift in and out of consciousness as some of my classmates help me walk to Recovery Girl. They sit me down on the bed beside Todoroki, gently lowering my head to the pillow.

"He's back again, huh?" I hear Recovery Girl sigh and walk over to me. "What is it this time?"

"He just needs to sleep off Midnight's quirk."

"Ah." Recovery girl quickly checks me for injuries, but there are none to find.

"So... how's Todoroki doing?"

"He's pretty beat up, but he'll pull through. Though he'll have a scar to remember this defeat."

"So Kyarakuta won? Even though he went too far?" My head finally clears enough to recognize Midoriya's voice.

"Everyone thought Bakugo went too far, and he moved on, so why shouldn't Kyarakuta?" Iida asks, standing beside him.

"Exactly. There's no reason for young Kyarakuta not to move one." Recovery Girl says while checking Todoroki's vitals. I sit up, groaning and holding my head in pain.

"You're awake!" Midoriya exclaims, surprised to see me come to so soon.

"What happened?" I ask, trying to remember the fight, but seeing nothing more than a blur.

"Well, you won." The room is silent as everyone stares at Todoroki, who remains unconscious beside me.

"What did I do?"

"It doesn't matter. You need to think ahead, to your next fight." I nod at Midoriya's comment, weakly trying to stand up.

"Woah, there. Don't push yourself." Recovery Girl sits me back down, handing me some gummies. "Midnight's quirk takes more time than that to wear off!" She smiles at me, but I can tell she's faking it.

"So, who am I fighting?"

"Well, the fight hasn-"

"Bakugo." Iida glances in surprise at Midoriya when he was cut off.

"Why would you say that? Tokoyami is very strong!"

"The odds just aren't in his favor." Midoriya sighs, looking at Todoroki. "Like they weren't in his." Silence hangs in the air again.

"Well, it's been fun, but I should get ready." I stand up again, stumbling a little bit with fatigue. Recovery Girl shakes her head, not expecting me to do what I do.

"Regenerate." Iida, Midoriya, and Recovery Girl stare at me in awe as a red aura lights up around me, healing me.

"YOU HAVE A HEALING QUIRK?" All three yell, nearly waking up Todoroki.

"Well, yeah. I have like, everything." I walk away from the awkward conversation, making my way to the arena.

As Midoriya had predicted, Bakugo beat Tokoyami. And now it's my turn to beat him. I've been thinking of the best way to anger him, since, you know, it's fun, and I have a great plan. As long as he's up to it, I'll be fine.

OMNISCIENT POV

"AND NOW FOR THE FINAL MATCH! ONE OVERLY POWERFUL KID VS. ANOTHER! WHO WILL WIN? KATSUKI BAKUGO OR TAKUSAN KYARAKUTA??!?!?"

The boys appear on different sides of the arena. Bakugo's face says it all- he wants to win, and he's going to. Meanwhile, Takusan stands with his hands in his pockets, not seeming to care about the outcome of the match.

"BBBBEEEEEEEEGGGGGIIIIIINNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The sound of Bakugo taking flight is drowned out by the crowd's cheers. It's as if they hadn't been booing both boys in their earlier matches. Takusan smirks to himself, waiting until the last second to enact his plan.

"Let's win this, Sparkles." Takusan's eyes turn crimson red, and the second Bakugo throws a right hook, he blows up his opponent.

"DON'T YOU DARE USE MY QUIRK, YOU IDIOT!" Bakugo yells, landing on his feet a few yards away. He propels himself forward again, preparing to kick Takusan in the face. "DDIIIEEEE!!!!"

Takusan stays calm, sliding to the side, grabbing Bakugo's ankle, and smashing him on a ground like he was a nearly dead snake that some first graders found and were whipping around. (Since my friend somehow didn't get the reference, I'm going to explain that it's from Saiki. If you don't know what that is, too bad.) This, as everyone expected, really angers Bakugo.

"I'M NOT GOING TO LET YOU WIN THIS FIGHT!!!" He creates a huge explosion, one large enough to tear down a skyscraper. Takusan, however, counters with an attack just as large, if not, larger. The explosions meet in the middle, creating a giant ball of hungry flames. Smoke covers the arena, giving both boys proper cover, and giving the crowd a terrible view.

"WHAT'S GOING ON DOWN THERE?" Present Mic askes as if anyone other than the fighters would know.

"They're probably having a close-combat battle; based on how much thicker the smoke is in the middle of the arena. You can also see multiple flashes through the smoke, meaning they are most likely both using explosions to deal more damage." Aizawa drones on, knowing full well that no one is actually listening.

The two opponents were in the middle of the smoke, creating more smoke with their continuous explosions. Takusan was simply making Bakugo angrier, which may be a bad idea.

Suddenly, the audience hears something other than explosions. "WHY WON'T YOU DIE?" Bakugo yells, the explosions growing stronger.

"SOUNDS LIKE THEY'RE BOTH STILL FIGHTING, HUH?"

"Obviously. Based on what he said, Takusan isn't going down easily. He probably doesn't have a scratch on him." As the smoke lets up, it's possible to see Bakugo's rage as his punches speed up when those words hit his ears. Takusan stays calm, dodging all of the attacks, even without super speed. A few minutes of this pass and the arena is finally cleared of all smoke. Bakugo and Takusan are on different sides of the arena, both breathing heavily. Bakugo's eyes narrow in anger, and he once again blasts his way toward Takusan, who's standing at the edge of the arena. Takusan smirks; knowing that in his rage Bakugo has forgotten that he has more than one quirk.

"DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Phaser." Bakugo falls straight through Takusan, landing headfirst into the wall and sliding to the ground as if in an anime. "Sorry, Sparkles, I was getting bored." Takusan's eyes return to their normal black as he raises his hands in victory.
