Steve sighed as he was holding the animal close to his chest. "If Tony sees us I'm dead"he mumbled and the dog just licked his nose which made him chuckle.
He quietly entered the living room and placed his new friend at the couch.
"Hi bab- Steve! What is this supposed to be again?!"Tony rolled his eyes and yelled at the older one as he entered the living room.
"Look I can explain! Sit down"
Tony sighed and sat down on the couch next to his lover with the puppy on his lap. "I was taking my morning run and stuff and I accidentally run across the pet shop because I got lost-"
"Accidentally. Ahh yeah."Tony interrupted him.
"Okay maybe a little bit on purpose.. but he ran away, he took the chance when someone opened the door and then he saw me and followed me until here"Steve explained while stroking the puppy that was tiredly leaning against him.
"Followed you?"Tony raised his eyebrow
"Well- I picked him up after he went through the door of the pet shop.. someone could've stepped on him.. you know so I carried him until here.."
Tony couldn't help but smile at how pure his boyfriend was. "Can we please keep him?"Steve mumbled and both of them, him and the dog, gave Tony puppy eyes.
Could he really be the bad guy now?
"Steve.. we've talked about it.. we have no time to care about a pet.. don't you think he would be better at a normal family?"Tony asked calmy, trying not to upset his boyfriend. Steve sighed and Tony gave him a small smile.
"Okay fine.. I will bring it back.."he mumbled sadly.
'Oh shit now he's sad, good job Tony'his brain told him.
He looked at Steve picking the little one up. Tony tried to stay strong but after Steve almost walked out of the room Tony stopped him with a sigh.
"If you really wanna keep him okay, he can stay here"
He smirked when he saw Steve's eyes light up. The blonde placed their new pet at the floor and it followed him to the couch. "I will ask Pepper if she can take care of him when we're on missions"
"Thank you Tony you're the best!"Steve hugged his boyfriend tightly. "Yeah. Yeah okay get off my now i can't breathe"the younger one chuckled.
"But there will be rules for your new buddy. I don't wanna see him down in my lab, and YOU will buy the things he needs!"Tony said and Steve nodded with a smile.
"Have you heard that! You can stay here!"Steve turned to the puppy, who jumped around excitedly.
"What will we call him?"Tony asked while leaning onto Steve's shoulder.
"Uhm Tony"Steve smirked and Tony shook his head while laughing.
"Are you serious?"
"Yep, from today on we have two Tonys"
