Tony was flirt of the team.
He flirted with everyone but there was one person he was desperate to make his.
Steve Rogers.
He sent him flowers, called him babe out of nowhere and was also really touchy with him.
But he started to think that Steve didn't want him the way he did since he always got rejected.
One evening it turned out why.
The avengers, as usual after dinner, played truth or dare.
Since they ran out of questions and dares, they used an app on the stark pad.
The bottle turned it's head to Steve and the blonde chuckled.
He was relaxed and happy around the people who mattered.
He tapped onto the pad and a question popped up.
"Have you ever.."Steve started reading but gulped.
"..dated someone the same gender as you"he continued reading quietly.
Steve's relaxed mood suddenly turned into a sad, embarrassed and upset mood.
Well he looked like he was holding back tears. He looked down. When he realized the others were still waiting for an answer he looked back up and mumbled a small "yes".

After their evening he set up two glasses of wine and caught Steve in the hallway.
Grabbing his arm, he pulled him back into the living room.
"Cap. What was that with the.. you know? The guy you dated. You looked kinda down since then"Tony said but Steve shook his head.
"I'm not doing this"he mumbled and tried walking away but Tony told JARVIS to shut down the whole living room.
Tony pointed at the wine.
"c'mon i'm just curious"Tony grinned.
Steve sighed and sat down beside Tony. He took the glass in his hand and swallowed down the wine all in one.
Tony frowned.
"Listen Tony, it's actually none of your business.. but.. I know you like me and this will explain why I keep.. rejecting you so maybe I'll tell you"Steve explained folding his hands.
Tony flushed but nodded.
"When I was.. 17, Bucky set me up with this guy.. jack or something. he was.. about the same size as you. Black hair and blue eyes. Well anyways. He really made me.."Steve shrugged and Tony eyed him, listening in interest.
"fall in love. Well, I thought I was into women but you know.. everybody's gotta try it someday.. well anyways, soon he made me move in and i realized he.. was far away from the one.."Steve explained his words getting quieter.
Tony's heart stitched a little at Steve's voice crack.
"Well.. he got.. angry a lot, and yeah.. he cheated. And I always forgave him because I'm naive as you know"Steve chuckled lightly.
"Well I had to ask him on almost everything and if not.. he forced me to things I didn't want.."Steve shrugged.
Tony gasped. He would find that guy in his grave, put him back to live so he could kill him again.
"Oh my- why didn't you tell us?"
"It's just a toxic relationship.. we all had those. Besides, it's embarrassing"Steve said.
"No babe, it's not. But i know now and it's okay hm. It's past."Tony said, stroking the back of Steve's head.
"I know"Steve said and slowly leant into Tony's shoulder.

Tony sighed walking over to Steve. "Jesus. For the last time, you do not have to ask! Baby you do what you want stop asking me!"Tony said, cupping the blonde's cheeks.
