Just the Way You Are

Part Twenty-Five:

Three Months Later

"Helen, I really think this dress would look lovely on you," Lilli said as she held up another wedding dress she had pulled off the rack.

"Awee, you're too sweet. That dress is really beautiful but we have to remember we are on a budget," Helen laughed as she showed her friend the price tag.

"Ladies, how much longer do you think we will be. I'm hungry and I'm sure Niall is wondering where we are," Harry complained as he followed his wife and her friend around carrying a mountain of wedding dresses.

"Oh Harry, stop complaining. This is fun. Plus we have to find the perfect dress!" Lilli said as she handed him another dress. Helen nodded in agreement. Lilli cheekily smiled at him while he just rolled his eyes, shook his and chuckled.

Today was the only day Helen could go wedding dress shopping without Niall knowing. He was going to be in the studio recording all day so she took advantage of that time and called her best friend up. Lilli loved wedding dress shopping, even though she had just got married herself, she still loved planning weddings. Harry on the other hand had nothing else to do and nowhere else to go so he had no choice but to go with them, and be their wedding dress "caddy."

"Lilli, I really like this one," Helen said pulling a dress off a rack and holding it up.

"That is beautiful try it on! Let's see what it look's like," Lilli said smiling.

"Finally," Harry mumbled under his breath, which led to Lilli shooting him a 'I heard that' look. He sheepishly smiled back. Helen came out of the dressing room, smiling from ear to ear.

"Helen...you look...beautiful..." Lilli said with awe as a tear began to form in her eye.

"Wow, Helen, Niall will be one lucky man," Harry said smiling.

"This is the dress," Helen said pretty much in awe herself and trying to hold back her tears!

"Helen this dress is absolutely perfect! It's so you," Lilli said smiling.

"Thank you so much," Helen said smiling back at her friend. It was a surreal moment both of their dreams had finally come true. It seemed like just yesterday they were both two teenage girls dreaming about a chance to be able to meet the boys. They never would have thought that they would actually be standing here today. Lilli married to Harry and Helen getting ready to be married to Niall.
