The ceremony was starting. The band began to play the graduation song. Two by two the seniors made their way down the idle. Helen and Lilli were walking next to one another. It came their time to walk. Helen grabbed Lilli's hand and squeezed it.
"Ya ready for this," Helen whispered. Lilli nodded, smiling. Helen immediately spotted Niall in the crowd. He was grinning from ear to ear. He sat next to Helen's family. He winked at her.
"Go princess! I love you! You're beautiful!" Niall yelled from his seat. Helen turned bright, bright red. She looked over at Lilli who was giggling at Helen when all of a sudden she heard an all too familiar voice...
"Hey everyone! That's my girl right there. Isn't she lovely? I love you baby girl. You make me proud." Now it was Lilli's turn to turn bright red but she couldn't help but smile. Harry was sitting nect to Lilli's dad who high fived Harry after he sat back down. Obviously, it was a dare. Her and Helen looked at each other, happier than ever. The ceremony continued, perfectly.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we give you _________ High School's class of 2014."
Every cheered and all the graduates through their caps up in the air. Helen and Lilli turned to each other and hugged and cried and laughed. They took loads of pictures with fellow classmates. Now, they could relax and enjoy some time with their boyfriends. If only they could find them in this huge sea of people. Lilli smiled to herself, this is the beginning of a great summer.
