The following day I had walked to school and made my way to Bio. To my surprise, Jamal wasn't there yet, so I took my seat and waited for class to start. Within a few seconds I see Jamal walk in looking extra fine. He was wearing the new Jordans, and a red shirt to match. He even had an earring in his ear.

"Whats up Tasha" he cooly replied before taking a seat.

I breathed in and got a smell of his cologne. It had hypnotized me.

"Uhm hey you. You look... Good" i nervously replied.

"Oh this outfit? Its nothing. But about tonight. How about we kick it at Monses, have a couple of beers and then head back to your place. For you know..." Jamal replied.

I looked at him and smirked. Jamal had a lot more confidence today and it was actually turning me on.

"Good morning class. Sorry I'm late. Now everyone take out your homework and lets get started. Remember we have a quiz at the end of class " Ms. Briggs said.

After class was over, I packed my stuff up and headed out.

"Wait up Tasha, let me walk you to class." Jamal said.

I stopped in my tracks and turned around. He came up to me and smiled.

"Shall we" he asked as he extended his arm for me to hold.

I giggled and wrapped my arm around his and we walked out.

It was kind of weird how our friendship was starting.

"You sure you're okay with this. It looks like I'm your girl right now" I said as we walked the halls. I noticed people were looking at us and it was weird.

"Well I mean... Maybe thats the point. Maybe I want people to think we're dating." Jamal smirked.

"Oh really? I literally just started school yesterday. Isn't that a little weird?" I questioned.

"Not to me. And actually it's a good look for both of us" he replied with a smile.

We made it to my Math class and Jamal dropped me off.

"See you at lunch? I'll pick you up from the locker room. You have gym today right?" He asked.

"Yes sir. That would be sweet of you" I replied.

He smiled at me and began to walk away.

Gym was finally over and I headed out of the locker room. Jamal was leaned up against the wall on his phone. He looked cute as hell.

I walked over to him and he looked up from his phone.

"Hey you. How was class" he asked as he extended his arm out for me to hold.

"It was good actually. Thanks for asking. How was class for you?" I asked.

"Good, good, just waiting till I got to see you again" he flirted.

"Hey are you flirting with me?" I asked.

"Maybe... Is it working?" He asked as we walked to the cafeteria.

I felt my body getting warm.

"Yeah. It might be." I said as I playfully nudged him.

"Good. Cause after I put it down on you, I had plans to make you my lady" he replied.

"Damn boy, where did all this confidence come from" I asked.

"Don't worry about it. Just worry about where you wanna go have dinner tomorrow." Jamal said.

I looked up at him and he made eye contact with me. While biting my lip, I smiled at him.

He looked around and pulled me into a corner by the janitor's room.

"What..." I asked. I couldn't even finish my sentence before Jamal kissed me

"I'm sorry. I don't know what im doing. I took advice from Cesar and Ruby. This isn't me." Jamal replied while pulling away.

I grabbed his hand and looked up at him.

"Look, I like you, I thought you were cute from the moment I saw you. You don't need to be anyone but yourself. Although your confident side was sexy as hell... But if that's not you, I'm okay with that. We just started to get to know each other. Don't worry so much. I already like you." I said

"Really? I'm a little bit of a nerd. That usually turns a girl off." Jamal replied.

"Yes really. I'm kind of a nerd myself. So don't worry about it. We're a lot more alike than you think." I said while smiling at him.

"I am so relieved to hear you say that. Now let's go grab some lunch. I'm hungry" Jamal replied.

I looked at him and he looked so handsome.

"Wait..." I said while pulling him back.

"Can I get one more kiss?" I shyly replied.

Jamal smirked and leaned in for a kiss before we headed to lunch.

The crew was already waiting on us at the table.

"So... Did you guys..." Ruby asked.

"RUBY! Shut your mouth." Jamal yelled as we sat down.

"What, you two looked pretty content on the walk over here. I figured Maybe you guys did the deed." Ruby said.

"Or maybe they're dating...." Monse said.

Jamal looked at Monse with a look of anger.

"Can you guys just lay off of Tasha and I" Jamal said.

"How can we, its your first girlfriend. Its exciting" Cesar replied with a smirk.

Jamal rolled his eyes.

"You guys are the worst. How about you all mind your business." He said.

"Yeah... So this evenings party at my house? Dads away and it's Friday so why not" Monse replied.

We all spoke on the plans for the evening. I was really liking my new friends. Especially Jamal.
