After that incident in Iyappan's house, Anirudh locked himself up in his studio for a week as a punishment for hurting Anika.. He told Ashy to lie to their family that he was out of town and will only come back after a few days time.. Ashy hesitated first but than did it for her brothers sake. He did not contact anyone and even told his friends not to go to the studio till he say so.. He even switched off his mobile not wanting anyone to track him down as he knows he's family members are capable of doing it... As days passed, Ashy came looking for him but he refused to see her too.. She tried her level best to make him come out but he stubbornly locked himself in the rest room of the studio.. However, he could not be there for too long as he terribly missed his wife. He wanted to end all the rift they had between them. So he decided to go back.

The moment Anirudh stepped in side his house, he was welcomed by a tight slap given by his mom.
