Chapter 5 TPIK

Celestine's POV

Nagulat akong bigla nang nilapit niya ang mukha niya sa mukha ko, kaya hindi ko nanaman mapigilang mapasinok. Marahil dahil sa kaba.

Damn this man! How can he be so gorgeous? No wonder all girls are dying for him. He has a very perfect and flawless face. The 'Ice King', Mr. Genius, Mr. Expressionless, Mr. Emotionless ng Steinfield University is so damn perfect.

Hiccups

"W-Why a-are you looking at me like that?" I asked since he never speaks and keep in staring at me.

"interesting" sambit nito at lumayo.

Tahimik lang kaming dalawa na nakaupo sa bench. Nakapikit and mga mata nito habang ang dalawang braso ay nasa bandang likuran nakasuporta. Napapatitig ka nalang talaga sa kanya.

I unconsciously smiled as I gaze at him. So this is how it feels to sit with the campus heartthrob, and town's bae nga kung tawag nila. I can't believe I'm sitting next to him.

I shake my head as I look away. Baka mahalata pa niya na nakatitig ako sa kanya eh. Akalain pa nito may gusto ako sa kanya.

Yawn

Napakusot ako ng mata dahil sa dinadalaw na ako ng antok. I was planning to sleep here for few hours since I thought this is unoccupied. Napaupo ako ng maayos ng biglang tumayo si Kira. Is he leaving? Good then I can take my nap. I have no place to go to, to take a nap since the lower grounds and schoolrooms are peopley and noisy.

"Eh?" Usad ko ng bumalik ito sa tinulugan nya kanina. Sa banda kung saan walang nakakalat na mga boxes. Hindi gaanong mainit doon, hindi nalang talaga mainit ngayon. It's not a gloomy day too but just cloudy and windy.

He looked at me and tapped his side. Napakunot noo naman ako. Is he referring to me? Bopols lang? Syempre ako lang naman ang tao dito eh. Nakatingin pa din ito sa akin at mukhang hinihintay ang sagot ko.

Are we gonna sleep together? Ay mali...wrong phrase. Are we gonna take a nap together? Nagkibit balikat nalang ako at dahan dahang pumunta sa side nya since he invited me.

"A-are you gonna take a nap too?" Tanong ko dito. Tho he was on it before I arrived. Hindi ako sinagot nito at pinikit nya lang ang mga mata. I sat next to him, actually there's a gap between us about one meter. Since we are not that close or even friends.

Wait....he's not gonna touch me in case I am to fall asleep right? Mantika pa naman ako kung matulog. I mean sino naman ako para pagnasaan nya diba? I'm not that even pretty. He saw my naked body earlier and he didn't even react like other guys will do.

Nagnakaw tingin ulit ako sa side nya. His eyes are closed and I think he is now asleep. Actually his sleeping face is not that scary, he looks more vulnerable, he looks fragile and soft. It's completely different when he is awake.  Who really are you? I'm so interested of your nature.

Hindi ko na namalayang nakatulog na pala ako. I can't even believe I'm taking a noon nap with this so called Ice King. I can't even tell how am I able to do it. I don't understand it either. Sitting next to his sleeping face like this is very comfortable. I feel so relieved. I don't feel the fear that I have when he is awake. I can only feel the beats of my heart syncs with my breathing.

I woke up around 2pm agad hinanap ng mga mata ko ang taong katabi ko kanina but he's not here anymore. I think he left already without even waking me up. Napatingin ako sa coat ko.

Umihip ang malakas na hangin at naamoy ko ang sarili. Shet that smell again. Why do I smell like him? His perfume lingers on me. Sana hindi mga aso ang mga Kira-tards na yun na nag-anyong tao, baka kasi maamoy ako eh. I don't to be their target.
