Chapter 15 TPIK

Celestine's POV

"So Celestine, tell me what the heck is going on between you two? Bakit sa dinami daming babaeng mas maganda pa sa yo ay ikaw pa talaga ang napili ng the Great King?" Agad na sinunggaban ako nito ng tanong as soon as Akira left the house. Where he is going, is unknown. I did not ask him anything. He said he has to leave after he received a message and has to do something, he even sounds in a hurry. Therefore, I did not get a chance to ask him anything as to where he is heading off. Not that I care about his errands. I'm just curious.

"How in the world  he is talking to you, looking at you and just you. Why not me? He acted like I don't even exist the whole time he was here. He ignored my beauty. Tell me, did you do something witchy to him?" Napabuntong hininga ako sa mga tanong nya. Like seriously? I already said this to her dozen times that I don't even know how did that guy ended up here.

"Sophia. I told you already, there really is nothing going on between me and that guy." What should I tell her anyways? I don't even know where to start. And what's there to be told? I mean sure there is something to tell but I can't go on just like that especially that it is a little complicated.

"And you think imma believe you? Maybe you still don't trust me after all the years we've been together. Tsk" She sounds upset which makes me feel bad.

"Not like that Iya......Fine, I'll tell you everything from the beginning. It will sounds stupid but this is really what happened." I started.

"Ok I'm all eared Celestine."

"Remember I told you, I saw Akira one night fighting with some thugs? There, everything started there. Blah blah blah..." And I keep on going on while she's all ears.

Actually Akira reminds me of a little boy I barely remember when I was little. He was expressionless and indifferent, he only makes expression when I'm with him. And every time we met he has a new fresh wounds but never told me where it came from. I wonder where he is now? What happened to him during that time?

"He is a good person, that's what I think." Pagpatuloy ko.

"I sure did not spent that amount of time to know him better since the short period of time is more than enough for me to read him. Or at least give me idea of who he is." Napansin kong titig na titig lang si Sophia sa akin at nakikinig sa kinukwento ko. If it comes to her  crush she is well attentive.

"So what kind of person he is you think?" She asked. What kind of a person? Hmm

"He has a beautiful pair of eyes. It looks like you are staring at the center of rainforest itself. He is warm when he touches you. He is not that cold and inexpensive....and yeah, he is weird. When he's here I feel safe towards him. He is not that bad like what others' thinking. He is a mystery, full of secrecy. He won't speak if he doesn't want to and will speak only whenever he likes. And he looks very cute when he plays with my cat." He is calm when playing with Kira and sometimes I caught a glimpse of different expressions like frowning, raising his brow, squinting his eyes. It's so fun to watch him playing with a cat.

"So in short you like him?" Nakapinta ang nakakalokong ngiti sa mga labi nito ng sinabi nya yun.

"W-what? Of course not. I told you I am an empath person."

"Empath or whatever but the thing is you said lots of things about him, you never did that before with anyone. Your eyes were twinkling as you are reminiscing about him. Perhaps, you love him?" Love? Ako? I don't even know if I am capable of doing with other people aside from the people na kilala ko na at napahalagahan ko like Iya and dad and my cat.

"I don't like or love him Sophia. I don't even know how it feels, it's impossible. What's more I only care about him since he reminds me of a boy I knew long ago whom I never seen again." Who was it? Where was that place? Why can't I remember about him? When I ask dad about my childhood he always keep changing the topic.
