Crowley had received many letters from Aziraphale and even posted a few himself. The angel said he was very proud of Crowleys work and it made the demon grin. Aziraphale had been gone for 7 months now. Crowley was missing the angel so much, he wished for him back, to be able to watch him read again.

The bookshop was coated in a thick layer of dust along each book. Crowley was standing lazily in the doorway, he was staring at Aziraphales abandoned desk. The book he was mid way through laying open on the top. Yet again covered in dust. He shivered, the angel hadn't written in a week, which wasn't too long without a letter but something felt wrong.

Crowley was worried, he bit his lip. He sighed and walked over to the angels sofa, one of Aziraphales jackets was laying on it. Crowley smiled sadly, and felt the material. Soft. He thought, the angel and the jacket. He turned into his snake form and hissed. Crowley slithered up the old sofa. Crowley remembered the conversation with the angel about that sofa and smirked as a snake.     Aziraphale said he liked the sofa when crowley suggested replacing it, he said it was an antique.

Crowley curled up on Aziraphales jacket, wrapped his body around himself and as he drifted off to sleep he realized the jacket smelt like Aziraphale, like old books mainly and cinnamon. He loved it. Crowley fell asleep warm and cosy, thanks to Aziraphale.

Crowley grumbled as he woke up, sunlight was streaming in and it woke him up. "Ugh. Let me ssssleeeep" he hissed. Finally he got up off the sofa and turned human again. Still grumbling. He stretched his long limbs and walked to the door, there was a white envelope on the floor. Crowley had butterflies in his stomach. He grabbed the letter and turned it over but as he did, the childish grin on his face turned to a worried, confused one.

The letter had the official heaven seal.
None of Aziraphales other letters had... Crowley tried to brush away bad thoughts as fear crept in to him. Crowley gulped and opened the letter. Sure enough the letter was typed in gold ink. He visibly shivered.

Crowley didn't notice the tears flowing down his face until they dripped onto the paper. He felt so much anger at this moment he just couldn't contain it. He coughed as more tears came and he sank to the floor. He brought his knees up to his chest and sobbed. He had so many thoughts.

"Dear, why are you on the floor?" Came Aziraphales sweet voice and Crowley launched at him and engulfed him in a hug. All he said was "I love you so much I love you more than anything angel, I love you. I love you" Aziraphale grinned and wiped away the demons tears. "I love you too dear, glad to be back" he said sincerely. Crowley nodded and pulled him to the sofa. They curled up together, Crowley running his hands through the angels hair. "whatever gets thrown at us we work it out dear" Aziraphale reassured him. "Yeah...  eternity angel?"
"Eternity my dear"
