Crowley groaned and tried to get out of bed as his tired eyes opened. Then it hit him. He wasn't in bed, all the memories of the attack came back to him. He felt the rope binding his hands together behind his back on a chair. Crowley looked around. The room was heavenly white and had a sickening glow to it. He knew where he was.

The rope was cutting into his wrists harshly and leaving sore red marks around them. Crowley saw Jack approaching and tried to struggle more. He kept scanning the room for something useful with his escape. He didn't see anything but his eye got caught on an empty chair across from him, it had a spool of rope next to it. No guesses as to who that was for. Jack was getting closer. His shoes tapping against the ground menacingly louder and louder as he approached.

Crowley strained his eyes to see and gasped harshly then coughed at the sharp intake of breath. Jack was dragging someone behind him. Crowley for the first time in a long time was praying, praying it wasn't Aziraphale. Praying it wasn't his amazing, smart, funny angel.
His heart sank.

Jack smirked as he watched Crowley staring at Aziraphale. He placed him in the chair and tied his hands together. "Jack. What did you do?" Crowley's voice was harsh and almost vicious, all he could see in the room right now was the rise and fall of Aziraphales chest.

"Hello again Crowley, oh him he's fine. I just did the same to him as you. He wouldn't have come here otherwise".  Crowley's blood boiled, kidnapping and suffocating him till he passed out  was one thing, but his angel was off limits. Crowley found himself mumbling something that made Jack giggle like a schoolchild "oh angel.... Im sorry." Jack smirked. "Cute"

Aziraphale stirred and glared at Jack as he woke up. Then he glanced to Crowley and his gaze softened. "Crowley.. Are you okay?" Aziraphale whispered. Crowley nodded "angel, are you?". Jack coughed to get the attention back to him and Aziraphale nodded. "Well, now that lovely encounter is done".  Jack started sarcasm dripped from his words.
"Jack. Let Crowley go. Now" Crowley was shocked. He had never heard such a malicious cold tone from Aziraphale. Even Jack gulped before continuing. "No. First off. Second... Aziraphale, heaven is at war again".

Aziraphale bit his tongue from making a comment and simply said. "Hell?" Jack shook his head. "A large group of rogue angels".  Crowley mumbled something about Jack being a rogue angel. Jack scowled. "I still work for Gabriel therefore I'm not" he snapped.

Aziraphale gulped. "Now. As much as I hate you both. Aziraphale, your incredibly well trained in fighting and sword combat." Aziraphale and Crowleys eyes met. They knew where this was going. Crowley put it simply "no".
Aziraphale looked at Jack. "I know what this place is like, what are the consequences of me not going".  Jack simply pointed at Crowley and made a crude gesture of running his hand along his own throat then grinning. Aziraphale and Crowley both understood that. "Angel, no. You are not going. I'm fine. I'll be fine." Crowley tried to pleade with his angel  but he knew how much Aziraphale cared for him and that he was going to protect him no matter what.

Aziraphale nodded. "I'll go". Jack smiled and clicked Aziraphale was untied and had an angel soldiers uniform on, hat under his arm and a sword in his belt. Crowley deep down was thinking how amazing Aziraphale looked in uniform but this wasn't the time, he made a mental note to tell the angel later. Aziraphale looked down at his uniform and sighed. "Can't say I've missed this..." He mumbled.

Jack clicked and Crowley was untied. The demon stood up and in seconds was hugging Aziraphale to him.The angel hugged him back as he heard Jack walk away and shout back "don't try and leave, there's security!". Then he was gone. Crowley had tears in his eyes again. He tried to hold them back. Aziraphale saw them and wiped them away with his newly white gloved hand. "Dear, I'll be back soon... I'll write to you. Okay?" He said sounding soft and gentle again as Crowley clung to his hand. Staring into his sparkling eyes. "Okay.." Crowley sniffed. "I love you.. Stay safe for me?" He sounded heartbroken. "I will dear. I love you too". Aziraphale booped the demons nose and he scowled playfully. Aziraphale placed a kiss on Crowleys lips and stepped backwards from him.

The demon had a smirk on his face. A devilishly evil looking smirk. "Why are you smirking dear?" Aziraphale asked inquisitively and Crowley whispered "you look really good in uniform angel". Crowley got what he wanted as Aziraphale blushed beetroot red and scolded him gently. Even his ears went pink. "Anthony J crowley...." He trailed off.

An angel walked up to them and asked for Aziraphale. He nodded and kissed Crowley one more time before he started walking away. Crowley was just stood paralyzed by fear, worry, shock and sadness. He had to think positive he knew it. As he returned home later that day and sat at his desk he pictured Aziraphales blue eyes and smiled. He even spoke to the plants the tiniest bit gently. Then murmured "that angel..." He waited everyday for letters and after 2 weeks of worry and nail biting stress the shining white envelope slipped through his letterbox and landed gracefully on the floor. He picked it up his heart racing, a genuine smile on his face and began to read.
