Aziraphale sighed as he walked through the corridor of the head office. The walls were white, the floors white and even the air had a stiff white glow to it. The angel nodded and muttered greetings as he passed other angels in the hallway. He groaned at the weight of the heavily overflowing folders in his arms.

Today was the day. He was meeting the archangel Gabriel about being a field agent on earth. Aziraphale stifled a giggle of excitement and kept sauntering down the long narrow hallways. He soon reached the door he needed. It had an engraved plaque outside it:
Senior Archangel Gabriel.

Aziraphale suddenly felt the nerves kick in. He swallowed nervously as he raised his fist to knock on the door. Aziraphale had met the archangel Gabriel before and Aziraphale had to admit he was... He got his point across. The angel scolded himself under his breath. "Aziraphale you are 2567 years old. Your not a child. You can do this."

Aziraphale nodded at the archangel Michael who was just leaving her office. A fake smile on his face he turned back to the door and knocked, juggling the folders in his arms. The knock was quiet and timid sounding another thing Aziraphale cursed himself for. "Come in Aziraphale". The angel blinked in shock as the door swung open. " how did you-?" He spluttered out. Gabriel rolled his eyes "only you knock like a mouse Aziraphale". Gabriel gestured to the chair across from his desk, Aziraphale bit back his fear and sat down.

"I must say Aziraphale you did well on your exams. For a principality." Gabriel added on smugly. Aziraphale nodded at the remark clearly annoyed. "Did you finish your coursework?" Gabriel sounded bored and had no enthusiasm anywhere in his voice. Aziraphale nodded and handed over the files. "All there. From miracles to demons" Aziraphale laughed nervously and Gabriel yawned. "Mhm" flipping through the pages quickly and carelessly the archangel tore one of the delicately handwritten pages. Aziraphale was about to comment but Gabriel glared at him, silencing the angel.

"Well. I think you can go down to earth for a trial run. See how it goes. Im warning you Aziraphale. Do your job. Mess up and your straight back in angel resources." Aziraphale nodded. "Thank you. I will bye!" The angel sprinted out of the room. Leaving a cloud of dust by the Archangel. "I got the job!" Aziraphale shouted earning him glares from the other angels.
