Aziraphale sat on the sofa in a daze, his headache was back and it was drumming away in side his head, but Crowley on the other hand was at the table. The demon sipped his coffee nervously the angel's forgetfulness was becoming an issue, he did as hid neice Anaphema said and asked him questions he should know the answers to, but Crowley heard exactly what he dreaded hearing. He asked the angel how long Aziraphale had known him and his face fell ad the angel stuttered and frowned before admitting he wasn't sure. He hoped Anathema would arrive soon and as he groaned he heard a knock on the door and he shot up to answer it. The angel merely glanced at the door before going back to fidgeting, scanning the room for any thing he remembered.

"Hi Ana sorry for bothering you again" Crowley usually wouldn't be so polite to anyone when he was stressed, but being an uncle had a strange effect on him - he was very protective of Anathema and he had even had a "word" with some little swine in her university lecture class,  who had referred to her by a vulgar name she went home crying that day and well the young man went to the next lecture very shakily the next day and he didn't even glance at Anathema from then on.

"Hi uncle Crowley and like I said before its not bothering me at all" she assured him cheerily, Crowley just nodded and pointed her in the direction of the dazed angel with a sad look in his eyes, she had already seen his reptilian eyes a few times so she wasn't shocked by them. She nodded and approached him with caution, "hey uncle Zera, how are you?" The angel's gaze snapped up as he looked at Anathema he smiled "hello dear I'm okay, please sit"- he tapped the sofa next to him"to what do we owe the pleasure of this visit Alex?" He grinned. The tension in the room became thicker, Crowley choked on his coffee and Anathema sat next to the angel and held his hand-"Ana"she corrected softly "my names Anathema -remember?".

The angels face fell and his smile faded into a frown he looked at the floor and nodded "yes so it is sorry Ana" his words came out very quiet and his voice sounded disappointed because he was, at himself he forgot his own husbands name and now his neices. "Angel I think we should take you to the hospital"Crowley spoke calmly as he fidgeted with his wedding ring, he looked at Anathema for help which she noticed and nodded eagerly "Uncle Zera, hey look at me I know you hate them but something isn't right is it?" She saw the angels demeanor change he became fidgety and anxious she thought he would protest but instead he sighed"okay, if it will get you two of my back".  A weak smile crossed the angels lips and Crowley would have smiled at the lack of a protest but for his angel not to refuse the hospital something was definitely wrong. Anathema stood and nodded at Crowley half heartidly medical school had taught her not to show emotions when consulting with a patients family but this, this was HER family.

Aziraphale sat in the back of the Bentley with Anathema and Crowley drove, the ride was quiet, Crowley cursed occasionally at passing cars and pedestrians but as they arrived and he parked the car, he looked back to see his angel gazing up st the structure of the hospital and visibly shaking, Anaphema tried to soothe him but it didn't really help. Crowley sighed and opened his door he walked around to let Anathema out (he had child locks on in case his husband tried to jump out mid-journey). Anathema thanked him and as Crowley opened Aziraphales door he offered the angel his hand, which he took graciously"thank you" the angel mumbled quietly.

As Anaphema signed Aziraphale in Crowley stared at his angel in silence before the angel felt eyes on him and looked up "oh sorry about all this c c um crow uh Crowley oh dear I'm sorry about that. The angel felt disgusted with himself as he paused between words what kind of a person forgets their own husbands name. He gulped as Crowley kissed him on the forehead "someone who is struggling right now, okay?" The demon was quick to reply and Aziraphale looked stunned,  he didn't think he said that out loud but he must have. Anathema walked back to the pair and made eye contact with Crowley, he shook his head to tell her Aziraphale had made no improvement and he could almost swear he saw a glint of hope leave her eyes. She sat down next to the couple in silence.

They waited to be called and after about 2 and a half hours they were"Aziraphale" ths doctor said and smiled as she saw Crowley stand and offer his hand to Aziraphale, Anathema stood and when they were all seated in the exam room she began to talk to the doctor in all kinds of medical phrases and to Crowley it sounded very foreign. To Aziraphale the conversation washed over him he was daydreaming trying to block out where he was. He was dreaming about being at the Ritz with Crowley content and happy, then the real Crowleys voice broke through the dream wall and called his name "Angel, Angel hello", he shook his head and was back to reality.

"Oh yes sorry hello dear when did you arrive?" The angel questioned he was surprised to see his husband here, well he guessed "here" was a hospital -  it sure looked like one at least. "Ange-" he stopped and scowled  as the doctor grinned at the pet name "Aziraphale, I brought you here with Anathema, remember?" He internally cringed stupid question really, course he didn't that was why they were here. After half an hour of questions and Aziraphale being poked, prodded and tested the doctor came to a conclusion "he seems to have a concussion but its healing faster than I would think it would" Anathema and Crowley looked at eachother and gulpled simultaneously, Crowley kicked himself for forgetting about the fact Aziraphale wasn't human. The doctor brushed over the unusually fast healing for the rest of ths trip and prescribed Aziraphale some pain relief and sent him home.

As the trio arrived back at the Bentley it was dark outside,  when everyone was seated the car whirred and started, after 15 minutes Crowley checked the rear view mirror and chuckled softly at what he saw,  Aziraphale and Anathema were both sleeping soundly - leaning against eachother, Anathemas glasses fallung off her face. Crowley reached back gently and removed them as he  continued looking at the road, he put them on the dashboard he carried on driving.

After another 20 minutes he pulled up outside Newt and Anathemas cottage - he called Newt earlier- he opened his door and crunched across the gravel pathway to Anathemas, he smiled , picked her up bridal style and carried her to the front door where Newt took his wife from Crowley and whispered his thanks.

After another half an hour of driving, Crowley parked outside the bookshop and repeated what he did earlier, he picked up Aziraphale bridal style and carried him into the shop, wrestling his keys on the way he placed the angel on the bed and went to lock up the shop when he returned, he looked at the angel and his bouncy curls cascading over his head onto the pillow. He smiled and joined his husband as he fell asleep he dreamed of what Aziraphale daydreamed about earlier, although he didn't know that
