Chapter 10

All Might glances over at Elvira and returns to his food.

Elvira eats all of her food and sips on her sweet tea. She grabs her phone and texts Endeavor.

"I met Shoto today"

Two minutes pass.

"How" Endeavor finally texts.

"I became an aide in U.A. I helped with his training"

"Did he leave a good impression?"

"Yeah, he's good. He's cute. I can tell that he doesn't like you very much."

"He says that he doesn't want to become like me. It's not that he doesn't like me."

"That's a relief."

"What"

"You're mean."

"I say what I want. It's nothing new."

"I'm stalking All Might."

"You change the subject when things get awkward. Stop."

"He's two tables over and I don't have my suit on. I'm his personal stalker. 😎"

"El, don't be weird. I have to get back to work."

Elvira puts her phone down sighs. She sips on her tea. She glances over at All Might. He was on his phone, smiling a little.

Elvira's phone vibrates. She picks it up and sees a text from Amy.

"Spicy or sweet?" Amy texts.

"How are you feeling?"

"Spaced out. I keep finding myself not being able to make decisions today."

"Try sweet"

"Ok" Amy leaves the chat.

Elvira's ears lower slightly as she looks across the cafe at the family.

The young boy keeps staring at her. The teenage girl catches him every time and scolds him. The mom looks tired. Like she could pass out at any time. Thankfully, they leave within a few minutes.

Elvira looks at the time.

8:47 pm

'I'm going home' Elvira thinks. She stands and swings her bag over her shoulder and throws her cup away. All Might watches her as she leaves. Elvira could see him in the reflection of the glass.

'Creep' she smirks.

Elvira makes it home alright. By the time she gets there, she realizes that she has a lot of energy leftover for some odd reason. She felt beat an hour ago. She decides to change into her hero suit and go into the city. There was some petty thieves, some bullies, an attempted kidnapping, and someone making a big scene from such a little thing. After about two hours, she sits on a ledge and takes a break.

"Fancy seeing you here," All Might says from behind.

Elvira just about jumps out of her skin. Her reflex was to cross her arms and use her back as a shield. She looks up at him as he stands behind her. When she realizes it was just All Might, she sighs.

"Sorry about that! I seem to scare you a lot," All Might says.

Elvira nods slightly.

"Anything much tonight?" All Might bends down next to her.

Elvira shakes her head. It WAS late. Almost 11:30pm.

"Same here. I haven't run into anything too off the top," All Might scans the road.

Elvira catches something out of the corner of her eye. Something that seemed to slink. Whatever or whoever it was. It was a dark green and a more solid green. She saw another one on another roof. This one she could make out as a person with a dark jacket and a pastel yellow hair. She looked at All Might out of the corner of her eye. He didn't seem to see what she saw.

Elvira thought about telling him, but it could've been a mistake and nothing to worry about. She just pushed it to the back of her mind.

She stood and waved at All Might.

"Alright, see you tomorrow! Have a nice night," All Might says.

Elvira gives him a thumbs up. She runs across rooftops in search of what she saw. Finally, she found the pastel yellow haired one. She hid in the shadow of the building, on the wall, and watched.

It was a man. A middle aged man. He was about 5' 8", yellow hair, tan, dark purple jacket, black pants, white shoes, and he held a white cylinder in his hand. He looked both ways before entering a building. The store was closed. He entered via the employees only entrance. Elvira jumps down next to the door and pushes open the door slowly. Someone was coming back. She backed up and climbed the side of the building swiftly and became invisible. She hung right above the door.

"We meet again next time," a man with a brown ponytail says.

"Indeed we do," the yellow haired man says as he walks away.

The ponytail man walks back inside. He locked the door from inside. Elvira looked back up to search for the yellow haired man. He was gone. She looked up and down the street. There still was no sign of him. So, she gave up and called it a fluke.

She hurried back home, took a shower, got a snack, brushed her teeth, and laid down to fall asleep instantly.

- Two Weeks Later -

Elvira woke up to her alarm again. She sighs and sits up. She scratches her ears and her tail. The alarm blaring as loud as it can. She sits there for a second and falls asleep again as she sits there.

An hour and 45 minutes later, the alarm is going off again. Elvira realizes what has happened and looks over at the clock.

7:45 am

"Shit!" Elvira falls put of bed and runs into the bathroom. She brushes her hair and puts it up into two pigtail buns. She brushes her teeth and throws on her suit at the same time. The helmet had to be messed with a litte. She fills a pocket full of lemonheads and grabs her phone. She looks over at the clock.

8:29 am

Elvira goes invisible and goes put her side window. She runs as fast as she could and makes a B-line to U.A.

All Might was chatting with Principal Nezu in the teachers lounge when Elvira nailed the door. The two look over at the sudden shake of the door.

Elvira opens the door and walks in. She has a hand on the left side of the mask.

"Rough morning?" Nezu asks.

Elvira sits in her chair and looks at him, realizing something. All Might could sense something .

"What seems to be the matter my fellow hero?" All Might asks, standing next to her.

Elvira just shakes her head and looks at the clock.
