The Cheshire Cat(All Might x OC)

Chapter 26

Aizawa wraps him up in his scarf and throws him through the ceiling. Elvira is left inside by herself after the others ran out to help.

She looks around for something to bring down the cages. Soon enough she finds a lever. When all of the cages are down she immediately runs to Maya and breaks open the cages.

Elvira pulls her up into her arms and looks at her face.

"Help the others," Maya says with an exhausted tone.

Elvira carries her over to the steps and returns to the cages. She finds all of her friends except Amy. A few other missing people were in the hanging cages as well.

She started checking the bodies that layered the outer rim of the room, frantically. Hoping to find her friend. It seemed like the last body she checked. But she finally found her. Amy had dried blood all over her, bruises covered her arms and face, and most of her hair was gone.

"Amy? Hey, wake up," Elvira wipes her face a bit.

Amy didn't stir. Elvira sat there for a second. Tears forming in her eyes.

She glances to her other friends, Maya had awoken Tyler and Bella. Tyler seemed mostly fine, while Bella held her left hand to her chest.

Elvira lifted Amy and headed to them.

As soon as she came into the light, Maya gasped, Bella sat there with large eyes, and Tyler met her halfway.

"Is she?" Tyler starts to ask, but stops. Elvira just walks past him and up the stairs.

The police had shown up at one point and were still trying to get ahold of the villains.

Elvira walked straight to an ambulance and set Amy on a stretcher that they had pulled out when they saw her approach with the limp woman.

The others had followed her silently. Tyler put Quinn on his back and carried her.

The paramedics wouldn't let Elvira into the vehicle. She wanted to, but she just stood there and watched as the vehicle drove away and two more came as it left.

"Cheshire Cat?" Maya asks.

Elvira turns around to see her friend was worried.

"Out of all those people that were laying there. Why did you pick Amy?" She asks softly.

Elvira looks down and then remembers the villains. She looks up and sees that they are having trouble with water villain.

Now she was getting mad. They had taken her friends away from right under her nose.

Before she could think, she was already running towards the villain with full force. She didn't slow down. She didn't think. She didn't do anything, but run.

The villain was too preoccupied with the other heroes to even notice the angry, crying, growling, cat-woman running at him.

They had killed all those people, who more than likely had families waiting for them.

She knew Amy did. Because Elvira was her family.

Elvira jumps into the air to get over the police force and lands next to the villain as her fists of steel slam into the ground, making it split.

The villain got knocked back. He threw a ball of water at her. All she had to do was drop to the ground and push off of it towards him. She slammed into his stomach, making him fly back into a building.

All Might, Aizawa, Present Mic, Midnight, Endeavor, Tsukauchi, and all of the police force watched with jaws to the ground. Looking at the Cheshire Cat, who has now changed.

She wasn't able to hide the bright light that shined from beneath the material. Her arms emitted a bright turquoise in wide slits on her arms, her tail spiraled, and her claws. When she walked, she left a slight silhouette. Her movements were fastened and her punches were stronger.

The commotion had now gathered quite a crowd. And of course where there's a crowd, there's a camera.

The villain climbs out of the debris. He looks up and sees the superhero approaching. He is the only one that can see her sharp smile and her glowing cat eyes through the helmet.

"Finally, a real challenge," He says as he walks towards her. Circling his hands with water.

Elvira stops and stands there, looking at him.

"What? Afraid to get near?" Arthur yells and rushes her.

She doesn't move until he gets close. When he does, she disappears and appears behind him. She grabs his neck and swings him around and slams him into the ground.

He gets back up and does a regular punch. She catches it and twists it around. And then grabs his neck and squeezes hard.

"You come here again, you put my friends in danger, you show your face, and I will single handedly kill you. Now tell me. Why are you doing this?" Elvira says with no emotion.

"Because..uck! The Bear will never be satisfied until SHE has been satisfied," Arthur says.

"Who's she?"

"Don't you want to know, Elvira," Arthur smiles.

"What?"

"Yeah, I know who you are. The Bear is coming and there is no way you're gonna stop him," Arthur says before he pulls a tooth out of his gums.

Elvira sticks her hand into his mouth and pulls it out. She throws it on the ground. All Might starts to approach.

"We'll talk later. Try to escape and I'll break the other one."

"What?" Arthur says with big eyes.

A snap is heard and he falls to the ground with his arm held to his chest, groaning.

Elvira grabs him by the back of his shirt and drags him back to the police.

- a week later -

Elvira is in the hospital, sitting by Amy's bed.

The doctors said that she's in a coma. She lost most of her blood and was halfway malnourished. Also sustained quite a few blows to the right side of her head. So she had a concussion. Her body was now completely fine. Her mental state is for a different conversation though.

Elvira sat there, staring. Listening to the steady beeps of the heart monitor.

*knock knock*

Tyler walks in with a few flowers.

"Hi, El," He says.

"Aren't you suppose to be in your room?" Elvira says, not looking away.

"Okay, mom...look...I-I just wanted to say... I'm sorry," Tyler looks down at his shoes.

Elvira looks up. "For what?"

"Well, I know I come off as a, you know. A-"

"An asshole?"

"Y-yeah. I uh..I know I always say that I'm gonna protect you guys. And I wasn't able to protect her. I tried, but every time I tried they would hurt me and then hurt her," Tyler says.

"Tyler, you don't have to be sorry for that. If anything, it's my fault for not finding you guys sooner," Elvira rubs her eyebrows.

"Wait, what do-"

"Excuse me, but visiting time is over," a nurse says, cutting him off.

"Alright, that's my cue. Bye T," Elvira walks right past him and heads home.
