Ranveer's Point of View:
we were sitting and eating the breakfast that has been made by Sana and Devika very lovingly.
just then my phone rung.
Sujal Maheshwari.
I picked up the cell after excusing myself from the two women.
"yes.", I said as he immediately spoke,
"where on earth are you?! what are you doing? and is the news true? you ran away with Devika Singh Rathore?", he fired a list of questions.
"stop. why do you need to know?", I asked sharply.
"it is important-", I hung up the call because the time was getting more than the safe time... police could locate my phone if it went on for some more time.
as I was walking back to the table another call came to me.
"say, Vinod.", I said feeling extremely irritated.
"listen, boss is coming to our adaa. don't forget to come.", he same quickly.
"which boss?", I asked perplexed.
"Aryaman. the previous Gangster King. he was in Dubai all this while. now, do not forget. he would like to meet you and your wife. arrive on time.", saying so he hung up the call.
Aryaman.
I had never heard the name before. all I knew was there was a 'boss' according to whom things happened in the gang. I had never seen him in the last ten years of my stay. nevertheless, I went and sat beside Devika who very sensibly did not ask me who had called, knowing it was something serious.
"and so.. are you guys enjoying?", Sana asked as I felt the statement to be extremely ironical. I merely looked up at her with a smile thinking about how did she expect me to be enjoying when I had no clear idea of what was happening in my life.
"yes, Sana. now please don't ask questions and eat.", Devika said, most probably thinking the same thing as me.
did the ghost of her past never trouble her?
I thought as I quietly ate, a billion thoughts jumping about in my mind.
I had asked Devika to make sure that Sana left as soon as possible because it was quite unsafe. Devika had done needful and made Sana leave that evening.
"we have to go to the secret meeting place. the boss is coming.", I said that evening sitting on the bed as Devika was combing her long, beautiful hair.
"and who is the boss?", she said, looking at herself on the mirror.
"Aryaman. that's all Vinod told me. I don't know who he is but it would be great to see him. he is the man who had set up such a strong underworld.", I said, suddenly feeling great respect for this man, I had never met.
"fine.", Devika said and finally turned towards me, smiling. she walked up to me and placed her hand behind my neck and pulled me into a kiss. I too reciprocate without much ado. it slowly got deeper.. she was always so amazing.. I needed her so much.. she was more broken than me but managed to make me complete...
we parted after some time.
"I love you..", she whispered.
"love you too..", i whispered with a smile.
next morning we were all set to go and check out this man called Aryaman. it was around ten in the morning when we reached my Gang's domain.
I walked in to find Vinod looking tensed.
"oh! thank god you are here.. I don't know when boss will come. it's getting late.", he said.
"he will come in the correct time.", I said as Devika stood looking around carefully. she was a great observer.
just then I heard a clear and distant voice from behind.
"so, you are my heir.", his voice had a certain tone which I could not understand as I turned towards him.
