Ronan The Accuser is a Marvel Comics and MCU villain, his first comics appearance is Fantastic Four #65. Chronologically his first MCU appearance was in Captain Marvel(2019). Ronan is a Kree warlord and former member of The Accusers. Portrayed by American actor Lee Pace, he has made appearances in Captain Marvel(2019), and Guardians of the Galaxy( 2014).

Ronan The Accuser was born on the planet Hala, the ancestral homeland of the Kree. Ronan grew an early hatred for the Xandarians, losing many family members in the war between the plant Xander and Hala. Ronan grew to lead The Accusers through the Nova-Kree war and into the Skull-Kree war. However at his inability to destabilize the Skrulls, he lost his political standing among the Kree. Ronan's hatred for the Xandarians never left, and at the promise of an attack on Xandar, Ronan agreed to help Thanos in his hunt for the Infinity Stones.

The battle for the Power stone was long and arduous, many lives lost in Ronan's hunt for the stone. The balance shifted between the Nova Corpse, and Star-Lord, Ronan attacking on both sides in the promise of the decimation of Xandar. Ronan eventually came into possession of the Power Stone, and consumed it's power, becoming even more powerful than Thanos himself. Deciding he would attack Xandar all on his own, Ronan launched a bloody attack on the Nova-Corpse. Ronan was near successful in his attack, but was eventually overpowered by The Guardians of the Galaxy and subsequently killed by the stones power.
