Namor is the king of the sea and protector of the underwater kingdom of Atlantis. Endowed with extraordinary aquatic skills, he was born of an Atlantean noble mother and a human father. Despite often being at odds with the inhabitants of the surface, he fights alongside them when it comes to defending Atlantis.

WHAT?!?! Olympian swimmer Todd Artiss injured his spine during an advertising event and underwent an experimental intervention to change his DNA with that of Namor and a shark. Thus he became the aquatic criminal known as Tiger Shark.
