Chapter 21

Anna fainted when got back from the airport. She was rushed to the hospital and turns out she had a fever but not a serious one to complicate her pregnancy. She and the baby are fine and Ella called in to check on her.

Anna's POV...

I woke up feeling a slight headache and a bit thirsty. I glanced down at Ben who was curled up beside me. His head was on my b**bs and his right arm was wrapped around my stomach. He must be so tired to be this vulnerable even in his sleep.

I slowly grabbed the bottle of water from the bedside desk. I sat upright tardily and adjusted his head that was on my breast so as not to disturb his peaceful sleep. I gulped down the water and slowly dropped the empty bottle back on the desk.

As I rested my head back on the pillow, I looked down at him and it seems I haven't disturbed his sleep yet. I dug my hand into his soft hair carefully coaxing it which I soon found very pleasing. I continued doing that as I reminisced how my life had changed completely in under two weeks. I moved into my boss and college crush's house and soon found out I was pregnant with his child. He proposed to me in front of my friends and family and the wedding will be in a month's time being May 22nd 2014. Sometimes I wonder if this is even real or if it's just a dream. It seems to me like a series of chapters all brought together in one book about me and Ben, my boss.

My thoughts were interrupted when the room door was suddenly yanked open to reveal the queen herself, Ella. "Hey bitch"

"Ugh... you don't have to be so loud. You're disturbing his sleep" I said gesturing to my ever so cute Ben who was oblivious to the sudden outburst of Ella.

"Awww... that's so sweet" I wore a confused expression. "The way you're staring at his sleeping figure lustfully, it's f*****g romantic"

"Shut up bitch. Why are you here?"

She clenched her chest dramatically, feigning annoyance and hurt. "Ouch Anna, that hurt alot. It hurts to see that my best friend and sister don't want me here. I'm going over to Jones' where I feel welcomed and appreciated" she turned around to leave when I let out a chuckle which caused her to giggle like crazy. "How are doing? I got you something."

She dug her hands into her bag and brought out a small box handing it out to me. I slowly opened it to reveal a keychain with a light brown teddy on it.

"Awww... thanks Emma, it's so nice. I've always wanted something like this. I would've hugged you but—" I trailed off as I gestured to Ben whose head was still laying on my breast. Damn this is so comfortable.

She chuckled realizing what I meant. "How are you two doing?"

"We're good. I mean who would've ever thought I would end up with him, Benjamin freaking Walker."

"I can say the same though. I never expected I would fall for my boss and he would fall for his damned secretary. It's something that happens in the movies and not in reality."

"Yeah, I know right" After a moment of silence, I smoothed his hair and said in barely a whisper "I love him."

"I know that baby. I love you more" His husky voice replied.

"Ugh damn you Benjamin Walker" playfully hitting his head. "Why didn't you tell me you were awake?"

"Uhh... because I was enjoying your little confession?" he said in a as-a-matter-of-fact tone.

"Ugh... I hate you."

"No you don't. You love me and you love the magic I do in bed."

I smacked his head "Perv."

"Now that's not a good thing to say in front of your friend you know"

"Ugh damn you Walker." I shot Ella a death glare and she only increased her laughter. "You know what? F**k you both" I scoffed.

"Nope... that's definitely Ben's job not mine."

"Argh! That's it. That's it! Forget it. I'm out of here." I tried to get out of the bed but was only pulled back into a hard chest.

"I can feel the sexual tension" Ella said giggling and wiggling her brows. Wtf

I groaned loudly, "I–"

I was cut short when Dr Kelly stepped into the room and I let out a sigh of relief. "Good morning Anna, Ben and..."

"Ella."

"Yeah right, Ella." He turned his attention back to me, "It seems you're better now Anna. Do you feel any pain whatsoever?" he asked as he examined me.

"Yes, a slight headache but aside that, I think I'm good."

"That's good to know. But you must still take your Tylenol regularly, it will ease the pain. Then always stay hydrated at all times. It's going to help."

"Okay Doctor. Thank you."

"No problem. You'll just sign your discharge form and you're free to leave. See you guys some other time."

With that he left the room and Ms Williams stepped in wearing a bright smile on her face and had a bag in her hands.

"Good morning to you all"

"Good morning, Ms Williams" we all murmured cheerfully.

"Anna dear how are you doing and how is my grandchild?"

I chuckled before replying with a wide grin "We're doing great"

"That's good to know. I brought a change of clothes for you and Ben. Here." She handed the bag to Ben who unzipped it and brought out a pair of jeans and red T-shirt.

He kissed my forehead before getting out of the bed towards the bathroom.

"Aww—"

"Shut it Ella". She giggled and we both burst into a fit of laughter. The bathroom door was yanked opened to reveal Ben who looked me in the eye.

"You're having shower with me."

"Nope"

"Yes you are." He said in a look babe you don't want me dragging you out of this room and drawing your juice out in the bathroom tone. I know better than to decline.

I soon found myself in the shower with my clothes on the floor and my legs straddling his waist. I knew this was going to happen either way. The kiss was intense and I could feel the heat building up inside me. "Ben... you don't want them hearing how my moans sound like, do you?"

He chuckled as he slowly put me down "Don't worry Kitten, I wasn't planning on doing that until you're fully recovered. Don't want you be to involved in some 'tiresome activities' If you know what I mean" sending a wink at me.

"You're such a d**k" I said in between laughter.
