We had just got out of the Sorting Hat Ceremony and I headed down to the common room with Nicole and Katie. "What Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher do you think we'll have this year??" I smirked and looked over at Katie. "Actually I've already met him...." Nicole raised an eyebrow. "Really?? Who is he??" "R. J. Lupin..... he went to Hogwarts...... and he knew my parents...... my mother talks fondly of him and my father agrees with her.... so I think that he'll be ok...." Katie nodded and smiled. "Well I've got info about what we are doing~" I giggled and Nicole rolled her eyes. "Really Kate?? How do you know that??" Katie blushed and sat down on one of the couches. "F-Fred told me......" Me and Nicole smirked, Katie and Fred have.... become 'closer' with each other. Fred recently thought it would be funny to prank Katie, he ignored her for the entire day until he mar her in the Astronomy Tower and starting kissing her. Katie was delighted and would non-stop talk about what happened. "Well.... what are we doing??" "We are dealing with a boggart...." I stiffened slightly and looked down at my shoes. A boggart takes the form of your biggest fear...... "What do you think yours is Kate??" Katie looked down and sighed. "M-my parents disapproval...." The room went silent for a moment and we all looked down. "I-I thinks that one of all our biggest fears..... what about you Nic??" Nicole scratched the back of her neck and her cheeks went slightly pink. "Failing my exams......" I giggled slightly and smiled. "What about you Dawn??" I froze and looked down at the ground. I could feel tears forming in my eyes but I quickly wiped them away. "Not sure......" I shrugged and felt someone's arms wrap around me. I looked up at Draco and smiled, he looked down and smiled slightly. "I need to talk to you...." I nodded and stood up, me and Draco walked around the castle until we reached the Owlery. I saw Midnight and smiled, I went over to her and she perched on my arm. "Dawn...." I turned around to face Draco and gasped. He was holding out a small green box with a silver bow. I giggled and took the box, I opened it and my eyes lit up. Inside was a bracelet, it was a sparkling silver with green gems all around it.

"Draco.... you didn't have to..." He just smiled and placed the bracelet on my wrist. I blushed slightly and he kissed my cheek. "Let's just say it's a.... thank you for saving me from the Dementor...." I looked at him confused. "But that was this morning.... how did you get this-." I was cut off by Draco kissing me softly. I giggled and kissed back. Draco pulled away and smirked. "I have my ways~" I giggled and hugged him close. I looked out at the sun shining and smiled. I felt Draco's arm wrap around me and I blushed slightly. "Princess......" I looked up at him and smiled. "Yes?~" He smirked slightly but then his face darkened slightly. "I-I need to talk to you about something..." I raised an eyebrow and turned around to face him. "What is it Draco??" He sighed and pulled out a necklace, it was a black dragon with a light blue gem. I froze when I say it, my hands clenched into fists as I glared at it. "Where did you get that??" "It was sent to me this morning..... I'm not sure who sent it though...." I grabbed Draco's hand and walked down the Owlery stairs. "Dawn! Where are we going?!" I ignored Draco's questions and made my way to the dungeons, I saw Snape and sighed in relief. "Professor...." He looked surprised to see us and gestured us into his office. He stood by his desk and turned to face me. "What is it Dawn??" I looked at Draco and he held up the necklace. "Can you find out what wizard sent this??" He looked at us blankly and sighed. "I'll see what I can do.... but I'll need to have a closer look at it..." He touched the necklace but instantly moved backwards, clutching his hand. I gasped and Draco yelled out in pain, he dropped the necklace and held his hand. I ran to Draco's side and looked at his hand, there was a deep dark gash in his hand. "What happened?!" I looked down at the necklace which was now glowing black. It's eyes were glowing bright blue and it was saying something in a different language, I went down to touch it. "Don't!!!" I looked back at Snape, my eyes wide. "Go get Professor Dumbledore....." I nodded and ran out of the dungeons, I saw Dumbledore talking with Lupin and McGonagall and smiled in relief. "Professor!!" He looked round at me shocked as I ran over to him. "Miss Lightwood.... is something wrong??" "Professor Snape and Draco!! In the dungeons.... something's happened to them..." Dumbledore nodded and he walked off to the dungeon, with McGonagall and Lupin by his side. Hermione ran up to me with Nicole and Katie, I felt tears fall down my face and Hermione hugged me close. "Dawn?! What happened?!" I ignored her question and pulled out of her grasp. I held onto my necklace and sighed, it may only be for emergencies but...... he needs to be stopped. I started muttering under my breath. "I.... Dawn Elizabeth Alice Lightwood.... summon my father...... to resolve this problem.... and stop what is done..." My eyes glowed white and my father appeared in front of me. He looked at me with a stern look and sighed. "This better be important Dawn...." I nodded and wiped my tears. I felt something take over me, I clutched my head in pain and looked down at the ground. "Dawn??" I giggled and looked up at my father, my eyes glowing bright blue. "Alec has come home and he is out for blood..."
