Chapter 12: Cursed Bludger

In this chapter there may be some swearing/foul language. So sorry to whoever feels uncomfortable about any words that are in this chapter. If there is anymore swearing in different chapters I will give you guys a little warning.

Today was my first Quidditch match as a Slytherin.... we were going up against Gryffindor. I looked at Draco nervously and he saw me.
"What's wrong princess??"
I smiled slightly,
"Just kind of weird that I'm going against my old team."
Draco chuckled and held my waist,
"Well get ready, cause we're gonna win."
He winked at me and kissed my cheek, most of Slytherin knew about mine and Draco's relationship and promised not to tell any other house. We were fine telling Slytherin since most of them were purebloods and if they weren't, they were from high class wizarding families.
I smiled and giggled slightly.
"Let's go win this game...."
"Yeah...."
He smiled slightly and looked down.
"What's wrong??"
"Nothing love..."
We got on our broomsticks and flew onto the pitch. I got into my position which was on one side of Flint, while Katie was on the other side.
Madam Hooch flew onto the pitch.
"Alright new year, new game.... now I want a fair game...... on my whistle!"
She blew the whistle and Flint immediately caught the Quaffle, passing it to me. I was speeding towards the goal when I could hear Lee Jordan announcing,
"And they are off! The Quaffle is caught my Slytherin - Flint Marcus and is passed to Slytherin- Dawn Lightwood who had recently been moved to the Slytherin house from Gryffindor..... she's going for the goal! She dodges past the twins and throws the Quaffle to the goal, Wood goes for it and misses! SLYTHERIN SCORES!!!"
I smiled and looked at the Slytherin stand, they all started chanting my name and I giggled.
"Lightwood, heads up!!"
I looked back and saw a Bludger coming right at me. I was about to get hit when someone pulled me out the way.
"Careful princess!! You could have got hurt...."
I smiled and looked up at Draco, a couple of awws could be heard from the crowd and I blushed slightly.
"Let's finish this game, I'll thank you later...."
He smiled and carried on with the game.

Halfway in Gryffindor and Slytherin were tied. I was soaring across the pitch with Katie beside me. We dodged past a Bludger and made our way to the goal.
"Lightwood, look out!!"
I moved out of the way and glared at the twins.
They shook their heads and pointed at the Bludger, I turned to see that it had turned around and that it was coming straight for me. The twins yelled at the teachers stand.
"The Bludgers have gone rouge!!!"
I looked over at the teachers stand to see that Lucius Malfoy was there, he had his eyes on Draco and was following his every move. That must have been what's wrong with Draco.... he wants to prove himself to his father...
I looked down to see that the other Bludger had gone after Harry. I flew round the field, the Bludger fast on my tail.... I looked down to see Draco and Harry, neck in neck, the Snitch fought in front of them.
"Come on love...."
They flew out of the stands and were both low to the ground. I went round one more time and Fred hit the Bludger off my tail to George, who hit it far out of the field. The crowd cheered and I smiled.
"Thanks guys...."
"It's alright." "We don't want you ending up like a pancake now do we??" "Even if you have moved to Slytherin...."
They said, finishing each other's sentences. I looked back down to Draco and Harry who were just about to reach for the Snitch when a Bludger came in between them and knocked them off their brooms.
"Draco!!"
I flew down to Draco and jumped off my broom. I ran over to him and knelt down beside him while Katie knelt down beside Harry.
"Please be ok, please be ok, please be ok..."
The crowd went silent and Draco raised his arm, holding the Golden Snitch.
"Draco Malfoy has caught the Golden Snitch, SLYTHERIN WINS!!"
The crowd cheered and I sighed in relief.
"Worrying about me princess??"
I looked down at him and blushed.
"Of course I am...."
I gave him a kiss on the forehead and he smiled.
"Lightwood!! The Bludger!!"
I looked up to see the Bludger coming back, but also one coming straight for Harry.
"Hermione get Harry's Bludger!!"
"Finite Incantetum!!"
The Blidger burst into pieces and I dodged mine a few times. Draco pulled me into his arms and shielded me, I held his hands and a white orb appeared around the both of us, shielding us from the Bludger. I looked up and gasped, a white light caught the rogue Bludger and broke it into a million pieces. I slowly let go of Draco's hands and the white shield went away. I looked back at him and he sighed in relief.
"Lightwood What did you just do??"
I looked over at Flint who was staring at me, in fact everyone was staring at me..... I looked down and blushed slightly. Draco wrapped his arms around me and looked up at all of them.
"She's special.... and more powerful than all of ya so I would stop staring..."
They stopped staring and the teachers ran over to us.
"You boys ok??"
"I think I've broken my arm..."
I looked over at Harry who was being helped up by Katie.
"Mine too....."
I looked back at Draco and looked down at his arm. It did look broken.....
"Don't worry Harry I'll have your arm fixed in now time.... you too Draco."
Lockhart walked over to them and I held Draco closer to me. I'm not letting that stupid excuse for a teacher touch him.... He went over to Harry to try and mend his arm, Harry started scooting away and tried to avoid him. As I watched them, I felt an arm snake around my waist,
"You been protective Princess?~"
He purred in my ear and I blushed bright red, moving away from him, only for him to pull me back.
"Draco they can't know......"
"No ones watching~"
I pouted and looked over at him.
"I said no love..."
He groaned and pushed a hair behind my ear.
"Merlin..... we are going to argue when we get married....."
I giggled and looked up at him.
"Maybe if we were by ourselves I wouldn't be so harsh."
I smirked and kisses his cheek, he was about to say something when Lockhart pulled up Harry's sleeve, pointing his wand at his broken arm.
"Brackium Emendo!"
A blue light flashed on Harry's arm and Lockhart picked up Harry's arm, only for it to bend in an odd shape. Everyone stared at it in disgust and Draco covered my eyes.
"Well then..... at least the bones aren't broken...."
"Broken?! There's no bones left!"
I exclaimed and Harry looked up at me surprised.
"Alright you next Draco."
I moved Draco closer to me and blocked him from Lockhart.
"Not a chance...."
"Awww poor girl... doesn't even know what's she's saying..."
"I think that's enough Gilderoy..."
While Dumbledore and Lockhart talked about Harry's arm I turned round to Draco.
"Does it hurt??"
"A little bit but I'll be fine princess..."
I held his arm and sighed, I wish I could help him....... I don't like seeing him hurt...
All of a sudden a white light appeared around Draco's arm and a white dragon covered where the break was.
"It's..... healing me..."
I smiled and looked up at Draco, after a few minutes the dragon went away and Draco moves his arm.
"It's healed!!"
Everyone stared at me in shock but Draco just kisses my cheek and hugged me close.
"Your amazing.... you know that??"
I blushed and looked up at him,
"Really?? Thought I was just another witch..."
Draco's grip on my waist tightened and he leaned forward to whisper in my ear.
"Your not an ordinary witch, your mine..."

We were taken off the field and Draco had to rest in the hospital wing. I sat on the edge of his bed and held his hand.
"My word Mr Malfoy, how on this earth did you fix your own bones?! No sixth year can do that on their own.... let alone a second year!!"
Draco chuckled and pointed to me, I blushed and felt a ball of energy in my hand. I let it wander across the room until it turned into a white dragon, everyone watched it as it spun round people until it finally made its way back to me. Madam Pomfrey looked at me shocked and smiled.
"Oh my child you have mastered the art of healing! Even without a wand!!!"

"Where is he?!"
I groaned and so did Draco, not her.... of all people not Parkinson.. Pansy pushed her way past people and glared at me.
"What are you doing here?!"
She snapped and I rolled my eyes.
"I could ask you the same question Parkinson..."
I glared at her as she scoffed, tossing her hair to one side.
"I came here to check on my Draco! And to make sure that your pathetic magic hadn't brainwashed him!"
"Pathetic?! Dawn's powers healed my arm! And I'm not yours Parkinson..."
I looked back at Draco who was glaring daggers at Pansy. Parkinson looked hurt that he had used her last name and drew her attention back to me.
"So what if you have powers? Your just a pathetic excuse of a witch that will never be daddy's little favourite-."
I stood up from the end of the bed and my eyes were glowing white. I moved closer to Parkinson so that I wasn't far from her face.

"He will never be with you, do you know why?? Because your a lying, manipulative, pug-faced bitch who thinks that she is wizard royalty. Well guess what Parkinson, your not!! And if you ever think that you will be good enough for him, I will tell you this myself.... he's mine..."

The last two words growled out of my mouth and Parkinson went to slap me, I stopped her and slapped her first. I was about to charge at her when the twins stopped me.
"You may want to run Parkinson." "She'll break free soon."
Pansy ran off and the twins looked down at me.
"You good??"
They said simultaneously. I nodded and they let me go, I sat back down on Draco bed and he secretly gave me a peck on the lips.
"W-What was that for??"
"I love it when you stand up to Parkinson.."
I smiled and kissed his cheek.
"Where's my son??"
Everyone turned to see Lucius Malfoy at the entrance to the hospital wing. Madam Pomfrey left us be and put a curtain around us, so no one would hear our conversation.
"First off I would like to say congratulations to your win, Dawn you are an amazing Chaser... just like your mother was.."
I smiled and looked up at Mr Malfoy, he gave me a small smile and turned to Draco.
"I am proud of you my son..... you were very impressive in today's match..... and I think Mr Lightwood would appreciate you being so protective of Dawn when that Bludger was attacking her..."
I looked over at Draco and held his hand tight.
"Dawn...."
I looked back to Lucius and smiled slightly.
"Yes Mr Malfoy?"
"Thank you for healing my son..... I see that your bond is growing fast."
I blushed and Draco pulled me closer to him so I was resting my head on his shoulder. It was almost too perfect.....
