Chapter 28: The Goblet of Fire

"THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!"
I threw my bag on the couch and sat down, frustrated. My name gets picked from the Goblet.... along with Potter!
"Why would someone put my name in the Goblet of Fire?!"
I leaned back on the couch and sighed, Draco sat down next to me while Katie and Nicole sat in the chairs opposite me. I looked over at Draco and he held out his arms, I crawled onto his lap and buried my head in his chest.
"Someone might want you dead Dawn....."
I looked over at Katie and nodded, that's true.... I haven't heard from Alex in months....
"I haven't heard from Alec in months..... but he would be only 16! And he doesn't even go to Hogwarts!"
Katie and Nicole nodded in agreement as Draco stroked my hair.
"Don't worry love..... you'll be fine....."
I looked up at Draco and smiled.
"Thanks babe.... I just need to clear my head....."
I sighed and stood up, I noticed a bunch of students walking into the common room, I can't deal with this right now.....
"I need to clear my head...... I'll see you guys in Potions...."
I grabbed my bag and walked out of the common room.

I walked around the courtyard in the centre of Hogwarts, trying to clear my head, who would want me dead?? Alec hasn't been around in a long time...... and he isn't old enough to put my name in for me... Weasley?? No... his brothers are Alec's age.... and all his other brothers have graduated....
I was so deep in thought I didn't realise that someone had come up to me.
"Hey.... Dawn??"
I snapped out of my trance and looked up to see Cedric Diggory, I frowned for a moment but then smiled. Why would Cedric come and talk to me??
"Hey Cedric..... can I help you??"
He smiled and rubbed the back of his neck.
"I just wanted to say congrats about being a Tri Wizard Champion....."
I rolled my eyes and giggled.
"Cedric YOU'RE the Champion for Hogwarts..... my name just got put in the Goblet.... along with Potter's...."
Cedric suddenly frowned and then raised an eyebrow.
"Potter??"
I rolled my eyes and lifted up my left hand, showing my ring.
"I'm marrying a Malfoy..... besides... it's not like he likes me anyways..... to him and his Gryffindor friends.... I'm the 'villain'..."
Cedric chuckled slightly and nodded. I smirked and leaned in to whisper in his ear.
"I think he just hates that I'm sometimes the gossip of the school, instead of 'The Boy Who Lived'..."
Cedric laughed and nodded his head in agreement, I could suddenly hear giggles coming from behind Cedric, I looked behind him to see three or four girls hiding behind a wall. I turned back to Cedric.
"I think you've got some fan girls....."
Cedric sighed and rolled his eyes.
"Anyways... I have Potions... so I'll see you around..."
Cedric nodded and waved.
"I'll see you in the first challenge..."
I nodded and walked down the stairs towards the dungeons.
Just as I made my way to the bottom of the stairs, I was suddenly pulled into a empty Potions classroom. I jumped slightly as I was suddenly pushed up against the door, closing it in the process. I looked up to see an angry-looking Draco.
"Why were you talking with Cedric??"
I giggled slightly and smirked.
"Are you jealous?~"
Draco gritted his teeth and pushed himself closer to me. I bit my lip and looked away from him. I felt a hand grabbed my chin as Draco made me look over at him.
"I'm over here love...... now what were you guys talking about??"
I opened my mouth to speak but no words came out. I cleared my throat as I felt my cheeks flush red.
"We were just talking about the first challenge..... and about Potter... unfortunately..."
Draco smirked and started kissing me intensely, cuddling into my neck every so often.
"That's my girl~"
I giggled slightly and wrapped my arms around his neck.
"Draco~ come on.... we have class.... you know how Snape is....."
Draco pulled away and looked down at me and smirked.
"Do I looked like I care??"
I rolled my eyes and tried to push him off of me. Draco didn't like that, as he picked me up and placed me on one of the desks.
"Come on love, please? I'm sure Snape won't mind us missing one of his lessons?"
He smirked at me as I sighed.
"Fine.... but you owe me one...."
Draco chuckled and pulled off my robe.
"How abut I fulfil that favour now?~"
I giggled slightly and continued kissing him.

I fiddled with my shirt buttons as I rushed back to the common room. I ran up to my dormitory and slammed the door shut. I panted slightly as I looked at myself in the mirror. My uniform was a mess, buttons undone, my skirt was barely on, my tie was undone and hanging loosely around my neck as my robe dragged behind me, barely on my shoulders. I looked up at my messy hair and red flushed face, that was..... eventful.... I started to fix my uniform when I heard the door open.
"Dawn?? Are you in here?"
I looked over to see Katie and Nicole standing by the doorway, they took one good look at me before giggling and muttering to each other.
"Close the door you idiots!"
They closed the door behind them and I sighed, I pulled up my skirt and started buttoning up my shirt.
"So~ you weren't in Potions..... neither was Draco~"
I could feel myself blushing harder, I walked into the bathroom and grabbed a brush.
"We weren't feeling Potions...... so much has gone on today..... but I know that Snape is going to murder us..."
Nicole and Katie nodded but giggled shortly afterwards. I groaned as I brushed out my hair and did up my tie, I slipped on my robes and walked into the bathroom to wash my face.
"So.... how you feeling Dawn?~"
I rolled my eyes as I splashed water on my face.
"Very weak..... I'm surprised I'm still standing~"
I smirked as I looked over at the other two, who were giggling and muttering to each other. I sighed as I walked back into the dormitory and sat down on my bed, hugging my knees. I smiled to myself as I remembered what had happened just moments ago, this is something I will remember forever.....
