"Gale, look!" I say leaning on his shoulder. His face was pale from the sudden loss of blood. "It's going to be okay!"

As the hovercraft got closer, I laced my fingers between his. I wasn't going to leave Gale here alone. I had to think of something, but right in the middle of my thoughts, the unexpected happened.

The hovercraft hovered above the boulder for a moment. Our eyes were stuck on the machine that lifted the huge rock from Gale's leg. Its claws threw the boulder somewhere farther into the forest. The low hum of the hovercraft filled the silence. When it landed soldiers in silver uniforms came to assist Gale and I.

"Hello, Mrs. Mellark" One soldier said, getting closer. I made a face at my new name.

"Hello" I said pushing a strain of hair behind my ear and pointing to Gale.

He got the point and rushed himself and the other soldiers over to Gale. Gale was lifted on a hospital bed and we walked on the hovercraft together. He was rushed into a large room with professinal surgeons. I was left alone in what I would call a "waiting room". The seats were a dark blue with a black striped pattern. There was also a coffee table in front.

Well,if there was a cofffee table there must be some coffee around. I got up looking for someone to help me. All the soldiers were rushing around like an ant colony. I tried to call some but it didn't work so I just stepped I front of one.

"Can I have some coffee. Please" I said blocking her way.

"Ummm, yes, it is right there.", she said pointing to a large machine.

"Thank you"

After I got my coffee I waited for Gale on the blue sofa. The next thing I knew, I was fast asleep.

                                                                                      *********

My whole family including Prim and my father sat at a large table. We talked, laughed and ate. For the first time in a long time I was happy. The next thing I knew a muttation had barged in and had Prim between it's teeth.

"Prim!" I screamed.

Her little body was ripped to shreads and blood was everywhere. Fear. My heart was racing and my palms were getting sweaty. I ran over to what remained of my sister. Soon, my whole family was killed by muttations. My heart felt like it was cut out of my body and beat with a stick. Blood. I started to throw it up and cry.

"Help!" I screamed.

"Katniss!" Gale yelled.

I smiled as he neared. I started to look around. I was in a forest. Not the one I had the key to, but a different one. I had been here before but I coudn't remember where. When have I been here? Then, I remembered. The Hunger Games.

"Gale!" I screamed. I tried to get up, but it was like something was holding me back.

He looked up. He started to run until a vicious muttattion attacked him. He struggled helplessly as the muttation devoured his body.

"Gale" I said crying.

Blood was coming out of my eyes, nose, and mouth. I started to cough and then I fell against a tree. When I turned my head to see a muttation was running towards me. I tried to move but it was like my feet were glued to the earth. I screamed as it neared about to attack.

                                                                            ********

"Mrs. Mellark" A voice said waking me up from my terrifying nightmare.

My head jerked up as the surgeon tapped my shoulder. I was trembling with fear and he could see it in my eyes.

"Are you okay?" He said with concern. I didn't answer. Was that dream trying to tell me something? I started to wonder.

"Mrs. Mellark" The surgeon said again getting me back to reality.

  "Yes?" I said looking up.

   "Gale"

"Ok, thank you. Can I see him?" I said getting up.

"Of course, follow me" He said talking away down a narrow hallway.

I followed still wondering about my dream. Then something caught me. Why wasn't Peeta in my dream?
