Peeta and I went back to our house, tired and exhausted from this long, dramatic day. I took a quick shower, dried out my hair, and went straight to bed. I just needed some time to think for a little.
Gale and Peeta both have great qualities. Gale can set a snare, Peeta can carry 100 pound sacks of flour without dropping them. They are both so different. Why do they even like me? I am a cruel, vicious person who was in the Hunger Games. I don't deserve either of them.
Peeta comes to lie down next to me. I can hear him shuffling the sheets as he's getting on the bed. I can automatically feel the warmth that radiates from his body. I turn myself towards him. I can see his face in the dim moonlight, coming from the open window. Surprisingly, he's staring directly at me. We hold each other's gaze for what seems like forever. I remember when we used to get lost in each other's eyes all the time. Now that I finally get to continue that, I don't want it to stop. My eyes feel like they're being weighed down by metal. I want to drift off to sleep, but Peeta's stare is holding me back.
He lifts his hand toward my waist and hugs me close to him. I can literally feel his heart beating. When I look up at his face, I see that his eyes are closed and his lips are in a slight smile. I stretch my neck up so my lips can reach his. I gave him a light kiss and then slowly drifted off to sleep.

I struggled to breathe as Peeta's husky hands wrapped around my neck. I was pinned against the wall. I tried fighting back, but Peeta's strength is too much for me. I wanted to cry for help but the words couldn't escape my mouth. Peeta grabbed a knife from his pocket and brought it closer to me.
************************************
I screamed in panic as I woke up from this terrifying circumstance. I was breathing heavily and sweat damped my head and clothes. Peeta woke up in sound of my screaming. He grabbed me quickly, but ever so gently and cradled me in his arms, rocking me slightly. One of his hands were smoothing out my hair, while the other one was still wrapped around me.
"It's ok, sweetheart" Peeta's velvety voice cooed. "It was just a dream" His eyes were now locking mine. I swallowed, though it was difficult. I felt uncomfortable to tell him what my dream was about.
I lowered myself back down and Peeta followed. I soaked the top-left shoulder of his shirt with tears. He began to rub my back again, trying to soothe me. I snuggled back into his side, afraid to go to sleep. Afraid to see that side of Peeta again. Afraid if faith is trying to tell me that Peeta isn't the one to be with. I push those thoughts away. It's not possible that he would try to kill me... Peeta isn't the kind of person that will do those things. Maybe the Tracker Jacker
venom mishap is contagious. It could be affecting me in some way. That's most likely not possible. Or maybe it is for the best.
