He was ruthless, evil and everyone feared him because he couldn't give a shit about anyone else. I didn't know who he was but something about his appearance interested me, wanted me to delve into his past and his future if that was possible. What I didn't know was the danger that could bring in all of this; dangers such as death, not only me but people close to me.

'You've been silent for a while now.' I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard Miles talk to me. I gave him a weak smile and brought the hot cup of hot chocolate, something I have been craving for the past weeks but more after that meeting with Tristan, I just needed something sweet to neutralise the sour patch left on my life. 'You sure you're okay? I can move some of my stuff in here if you want.' He asked me looking around at my house which felt empty.

'I'm fine, stop worrying.' I said chuckling slightly even though I did want Miles to move in here because I felt like this house was starting to get even quieter even though no one else apart from me lived here. 'You're my baby sister, I have to worry.' He said pouting. Sometimes my older brother reminds me of a kid whose mother denied him candy now he's in a strop, the whole thing makes me want to hurt him but that would be animal abuse. Lame insult, but baby boy in my tummy thought it was good since he started kicking.

'How's work been going?' I asked as I took another long sip from my delicious Choco.

'It's the same, boring, long and distasteful. Like my past fucks.' I scrunched my face up in disgust then scowled at him in which he gave me a sheepish look. 'Don't swear in front of baby bubs.' I said pointing to my growing stomach, seven months down two months to go. Miles' only response was him rolling his eyes but muttering an apology.

'I need to go.' He said as he looked at his phone a couple minutes later. I got up (with the help of Miles) and hugged him which he returned then I walked him to the door to be greeted by Tristan. I was about to ask why he was here when Miles beat me to it. 'Why are you here?' His tone was cold and harsh making me flinch a little because I haven't heard him speak to anyone like that.

'I need to talk to her, so if you're done fucking her I'll be glad.' I turned and glared at Tristan for saying something disgusting like that. 'She's my sister, dickhead. Ki, who is he to you?' I couldn't answer because of the anger that had replaced my worried state.

'No one.' I answered coldly but it wasn't as cold as Miles'. My stupid brother just look between the both of us then realisation seeped through his big head and it looked like anger set in too but before he could pick a fight with the now smirking prick, I stopped him and gave him a pointed look. 'You need to get to work, go. I'll be fine.' He gave me a short hug then looked in the direction of Tristan, giving him a disgusted look before walking away. I leaned on the door frame as Tristan's eyes watched my brother's retreating figure.

'Why are you here Tristan? Not being rude of course.' Tristan turned back to me and gave me a grin as if he thought I would be happy to see him here which I wasn't. Glad you're happy, can you piss off and leave me in peace? However, this was stalker Tristan we were talking about meaning that I wouldn't be left in peace. Ever.

'I need to speak to you, Ki.'

'Don't call me Ki, only Miles can call me that.' He raised an eyebrow at me but I stuck to short sentences, for now at least. 'Well aren't you going to invite me in?' I would not invite you to my humble home for you to ruin it with your heartless self.

'Tristan, can you just say what you want so I can go?' I asked sighing as I remembered that I had a doctor's appointment to check up on the baby in an hour and it took me fifteen minutes to get there but I was craving something and all I could picture was Taco Bell.

'Why? You got someone coming over?' He asked, a little anger and jealousy lacing his voice. My anger came back full on and I found myself having to clutch the door so hard it made my knuckles turn white. Tristan noticed this and instead of telling me to calm down, he smirked. 'I see all the Jones' have the anger issue thing going on.' He eyed my knuckle, I loosened up my grip on the door confused as to what he was trying to say.
