Kihanna's P.O.V
There was loads of things going through my mind at the moment and it was making the baby kick a lot. The bear was in my hands and so was the note but I was looking at the sonogram that was framed on top of the little shelf, it had the words seven months on top of it written in black. My eyes moved down to the bear and the note, I smiled a little at the bear who looked cute for my baby boy but then when I saw the note, I didn't know what to think or if I should read it or not. Screw it, I'll read it but as I went to open the letter or the note, the doorbell rang. Great timing.
Sighing, I got off the couch with great difficulty before waddling to the door, hoping that it was Tristan who forgot his keys but wanted to come home anyway. Sadly, I was mistaken when I saw Kieron's form through the door making me contemplate on whether I should open the door or not but then he knocked again and it seemed rude not to open the door since he actually gave a nice present instead of something creepy. Looking at the clock, I realised that it may be a little late for Tristan to come home now or maybe a little early, maybe he was drinking or something. Crap, thoughts are invading my mind and I'm being rude.
I walked to the door and turned the various locks that the door had and opened it a little so I could see Kieron who stood as he normally did but when his eyes locked on mine, I could see concern washing through his eyes making me feel guilty. 'Hey.' I said softly while taking my eyes off him. It was a chilly night and I only wore what I always wear to bed which was an oversized top and panties but I had also worn sweats when I felt it got too chilly.
'Hey.' It was silent for a couple minutes before I realised that I should let him in.
'Come in, its cold outside.' He gave me a little smile for the gesture and I opened the door wider so that he could come in then I closed the door quickly so that the heat couldn't escape from the house anymore. I turned around to see Kieron looking at me, so I gave him a little smile before leading him into the room where I was in before, not caring if there was a tonne of furniture and everything in there. I was clearing up the sofa when I heard him speak.
'So you opened my present?' His eyes were set on the teddy and the note that were on the table. I nodded at his question before he proceeded to talk, 'Did you like it? I can return it if you didn't.'
'No, no! I really did like it. Thank you.' The silence awakened in the air once again and it was as if it was going to be hard to cut through it and I wasn't sure whether to speak or not. I was sitting away from Kieron while he sat on the one seater, I sat on the two seater couch as I stared at the teddy bear that seemed to be mocking me. It was either me that only felt that or it was the pregnancy brain that I had going on.
'Sorry about the furniture and all.' I said looking around me then back at the table. 'No, it's fine seriously.' The silence had come back again and it was like a game between talking and the silence and so far, the silence was winning and I was starting to hate it. No way was I going to be like this for the whole time.
'Not meaning to be rude or anything, but how come you're here at this time of the night?' I asked, then feeling slightly guilty for asking a question like that but Kieron answered me anyway. 'I was passing by your house and making sure that you were okay, then I realised that Tristan's car wasn't here and I got worried so I thought I would come check up on you since you are almost ready to pop.' He said, chuckling slightly.
'I'm fine.' I sighed. 'Me and Tristan just had a little argument and when I went to bed, he walked out.'
'What was the argument about? If you don't mind me asking.' Looking into Kieron's eyes, I remembered all those times where I went to him as a kid and asked for his advice when Miles wasn't at home. Now I find out that none of them liked each other because of gang rivalry, made me think of all the stupid reasons they could have hated each other for. Kieron was still kind of like a big brother to me considering that I kind of had a little crush on him but he knew what to say to me, no matter the hatred between him and Tristan.
