The gruelling images of what I thought I was going to see kept circling in my mind like a broken record. I felt sick to my stomach when I saw the blood that covered Blake's mid-section and I thought of the worst as she had an abusive husband of course; there was also a feeling within me that made me want to blame Tristan for this but it was too early to tell who is the one that should be blamed.

I knew that I should have done something the moment I heard that Aimee and Tristan got into an argument, I knew I should have went and saved her from the hell she as well as her baby was going through but I didn't and now she is hurt because of that asshole and I didn't even know which one I was talking about.

When I got downstairs, I followed Blake into the front room to see Layla getting masses amount of towels while Blake went in front of me towards Layla to help her, blocking my view of Aimee but that was only for a second because when he had moved, I had seen Aimee. My hand flew to my mouth when I saw the state she was in; swollen eye, bruise forming on her left cheek as well as the head injury on the side of her head which left her with a little damp hair showing blood. If she was like that now, I didn't want to know what the rest of her looked like; I only wanted the person who did this to her to be punished.

'Kihanna!' I was pulled back to reality when I saw Layla in front of me, shaking me gently as she looked down with me, concern swimming through her eyes. 'I need you to help me okay? Go upstairs and get the first aid kit from the bathroom okay?' I nodded my head a little, my eyes flickering back to Aimee's body and I found myself standing still once again but I was shook again by Layla. 'Go!'

With shaky steps, I had managed to make my way upstairs without puking or fainting from the image that was now drilled and buried into my mind because of how I had seen what was practically normal of Layla and Blake saw for most of their lives being in a gang. Breathing harshly, I had opened the door to my bedroom to see Tristan sitting on the bed with his elbows on his knees and face in his hands but I couldn't find myself to go see if he was alright because I myself knew that he wasn't the problem at the moment, no matter how harsh it sounded.

I walked over to the bathroom, taking my time because my stomach was doing a lot of flips which worried me but I had managed to make it to the cupboard where the first aid kit was supposed to be then I realised that it was in the room where I was fixed Tristan's cuts when he punched the mirror.

I walked back out of the bathroom, tears threatening to spill as hormones built in my mind knowing how slow I was being when there was a pregnant teenager downstairs with masses amounts of injuries while I was here taking my time and thinking about myself. I reached out for the first aid kit that was by the bedside table but in the draw, when I was pulled back by someone behind me making me scream out in fear. It was only Tristan who stood behind me and now nothing could stop the flowing of the tears as he pulled me in for a hug but I didn't return it; instead I pushed him away and got the first aid kit. Now was not the time to be worrying about me, it was the time to be helping Aimee and if Tristan didn't want to help me then so be it, but I'm not watching her die.

'If you want to help your teenage half-sister, then come downstairs. If not, you're always going to be heartless over a grudge that you have and you'll never be the man that actually tried to be a part of his kid's life because of one mistake.' I warned Tristan through my shaky voice before opening the bedroom door and walking out.

As I took the last step downstairs, I heard Tristan's feet thunder against the wood of the stairs as he joined me when I walked into the front room to see Layla talk soothingly to Aimee while Blake held a bloody looking towel against the side of her head that was bleeding. I took a deep breath before making my way to her but the first aid kit was stolen out of my hands by Tristan as he told both Layla and Blake to move.
