Layla's P.O.V

It's been at least a couple hours since Tristan called me up telling me that Kihanna hasn't come home and after catching up us on the news, I had the urge to yell at my best friend but there was no point in doing that because now she's missing. Blake and I were assigned to find where the hell she is and when we do find her, it was our job to tell Tristan and Miles then me and Blake ourselves had to go to the location along with other gang members to kill the ones that took her.

Since the bomb had happened and she lost Leah, she hasn't been herself lately and I get why she would think that she would be able to kill William with just one shot but this was a stupid idea. The bomb traumatized a couple of us but Kihanna was the most effected one since she lost her best friend. Me and Aimee got out with some burns our bodies but the thing we were most thankful for was that her baby was still alive. Aimee was still healing from her injuries and so was I but I had planned to go back to training, the only noticeable cut was the one above my eyebrow.

'So last we know is that Kihanna took the gun that Miles gave her for protection and was going to where she thought William would be?' I asked Blake who leaned back in his seat and nodded. I cursed like a sailor in my head and scolded Kihanna for going out to kill. Miles might have taught her how to use a gun but that wasn't what was going to help with anything because she didn't know how to handle shit out there.

Blame me for being angry but it's how I've been for most of my life. My upbringing wasn't harsh, it wasn't like Kihanna's which got me pissed off the day she told me what was happening with her but my mom said I couldn't do anything about it, so I just left it and right now, I was actually kind of happy that her mom barely had anyone by her bedside but I do pity her. For my anger though, that's the type of shit that got me into a lot of trouble but I was a good student, sometimes anyway.

Fighting is what basically calmed my anger but thing was, I didn't like hitting anyone that I liked and I didn't like hitting anyone altogether so my mom bought me a punching bag which I loved so much because it made my punches more stronger and it never let me down. I miss my punching bag, I mean I even named it! No one apart from my mom, dad, Kihanna and Tristan knew about my anger and that's how I wanted it to stay.

'Hey Blake?' I asked while he was trying to find something on the computer, most likely the cameras. Without looking at me, he hummed in response. 'Are you alright? With the whole Leah's death thing?' Blake tensed suddenly but then recomposed himself and started typing again making me think that I hit a weak spot, especially when he was silent for a couple minutes.

Blake sighed and leaned back on his chair while staring into space as he parted his lips to talk, 'It's...It's something that you won't get, Layla. I mean she's only come into my life for a couple months, almost six months and I've gotten to love her or something like that anyway and now she's gone. Whatever, I'll get used to it.' He said, sighing and turning back to the computer and laptops.

'I'm here for you okay?' I said putting a hand on his shoulder. He turned to me with amusement running through his eyes. 'Going soft on me now, L?' I softly punched his arm when he smirked at me but the laughs soon died down.

'Thank you though.' He said to me while locking eyes with my own. I don't know why but I felt a little jealous which also made me feel a little guilty since she was dead so I shook the feeling off but it still wouldn't go.

'Okay, so that's the dude that's getting married to Kihanna's mom. Let's see if he has a link to Kihanna in any other way.' Blake said, bringing me out of my thoughts then typed a little more and there was no other link to Kihanna. 'Bring up the camera's from the day she was attacked.' I told Blake. He did as I said and just as we expected, William was the one coming out of the house where Kihanna used to live. Then we looked at the other camera that was on Kihanna's lane and saw that he was getting into a car.
