My leg wouldn't stop moving, I couldn't stop shaking myself thinking about how it was my fault. It was my fault that I didn't tell Tristan sooner, it was my fault that William managed to take his plan to action, it was my fault that three of the girls closest to me got hurt. I was so jittery and jumpy that I didn't realise the things happening around me apart from the noise, the sudden noises that filled my ears making me think it was the explosion itself.

'You need to go home and get some sleep, Ki.' I stop shaking and looked at Tristan from underneath my lashes. His appearance was rough just like my own because he almost lost his sister and she almost lost her baby, he almost also lost his best friend and if one of them dies, I could never forgive myself for it. I ignored what Tristan said and resumed to my constant shaking of my knee which seemed very relaxing in a way.

'Kih-' My ears blocked out his voice and looked towards the doctor that was coming our way. It was the same doctor that had helped me give birth to Kaden and since he's been here, I haven't heard from my old doctor and when I asked He looked very tired like all night doctors do, he was wearing scrubs and those plastic caps. Somehow, I knew that he wasn't going to give us good news but in my mind, I was praying that everyone was alright.

'I'm assuming you want me to get straight to the point?' I got up and so did Tristan, which made the doctor continue. 'There's no harm done to Aimee or her baby, just a couple cuts and some burns but other than that she is fine and she's lucky that she got out of there quick and didn't inhale much of the smoke. Layla got some second degree burns which she is managing to heal from but she still hasn't waken yet.'

'W-what about L-Leah?' My voice shook at what her fate would be and by the sigh that the doctor gave, I knew right then and there that something happened to my best friend.

'There's no easy way to say this to you, Kihanna.' My eyes were already burning with tears, it was my fault. This whole thing was my fault. 'She passed away with third degree burns which took over most of her body. We tried t-' I blocked out everyone's voices and cried at the loss of my best friend, the girl who's taken care of me and been there by my side. She's gone, she's gone and she's never coming back.

'No!' I shouted. 'No, she can't be gone! No!' I screamed as tears were hot and sliding down my cheeks. Tristan grabbed a hold of me and I continued to scream and shout for my best friend, the girl that always smiled and kept everyone safe, the girl that would risk her life for anyone else's, the girl that knew my secret and never judged me. She's gone from this world because of me.

'Shh.' Tristan said soothingly into my ear as I cried on his shoulder but it was anything but soothing. I needed to get out of here, I need to see her body. She couldn't be dead! 'I'll leave you two here, you're welcome to come tomorrow to see Aimee and Layla.' I wanted Leah to be alive too.

It had been three weeks since that has happened and I still haven't come to terms with the loss of my best friend. The day that I told Kieron, he broke down and fell onto his knees crying for his sister to come back and for the first time in my life, I had seen him cry for his sister who wasn't going to come back. I had hugged him and he had hugged me as we mourned over her loss; the funeral had been even more real but I still couldn't get over it and I don't think anyone could.

Layla and Aimee were released from hospital a week or two after the accident and some of the gang members and Tristan were making sure Aimee was safe and okay as well as her baby. Layla didn't want any of the guys' fussing off her as per usual but she hasn't been herself these past couple days, I would often find her staring into space as if she was trying to remember something. My mood has been off and I hadn't even tried to take care of Kaden, I didn't get up at night, I didn't feed him, I didn't do the basic things a mom needs to do.
