Over the past couple of days since the whole Kieron incident, Tristan has been a whole lot nicer towards me and has even helped me out a couple time, making sure that I didn't get hurt or making sure that I was eating well. It may be little, but this is Tristan we are talking about someone who is cold hearted and not nice but that seemed to have changed; each day that passed I would look at him and see him either helping me or sorting clothes out for the baby.
The other good thing was, I was starting to see good in Tristan; something that I never thought would happen.
'You know, if you keep observing me I'm going to take it the wrong way.' Tristan stopped opening the box that had parts of the crib in it and turned to look at me, winking with a smirk on his face making me blush a million shades of red while trying not to choke on my amazingly delicious cinnamon toast crunch.
'I'm not observing you, I'm waiting to see how the crib looks so that we don't have to return it.' I retorted with a small smile on my face, happy about the comeback I made. I heard Tristan's deep chuckle before a huge ripping sound of tape and the smell of new furniture filled my nostrils.
Tristan and I had ordered a crib from Ikea seeing as they have such cute looking cribs but this didn't come in until a couple days ago and we were going to set it up today, when I mean we I don't mean me and Tristan, I mean Tristan and Blake with the help of Layla who's going to keep me company. Leah said she will come over later because she has to be at work the whole day, I understand what she meant because I have been to where she works and they take their job seriously.
'When's Blake coming over?' I asked Tristan. When Blake and Layla would get here, that's when the fun would probably start because I would have Layla and Tristan would have Blake to hang out with him while they make the baby's room.
'In about half an hour, said that he had to go drop a special someone off.' Tristan's eyes flickered to me giving me a small smirk and I knew what he had meant by that. Ever since the meshing of Blake and Leah, they have been all over each other and I do mean all over each other and it's even got to the point where I would call Leah and I as well as my baby would have to hear the gruelling sounds of moaning coming from both Blake and Leah.
'Don't remind me.' I said, shuddering as I remembered the thoughts. I continued to eat my tasty and heavenly like cereal while Tristan continued ripping the masses amount of tape from the boxes to get out the parts of the crib which were a dark grey colour. I chose that colour because I was looking at pictures of how other people's nurseries were and got my idea from there; I explained to Tristan how I wanted one of those but he wasn't listening to me which made me give up on the idea.
By the time I had finished washing up my plate and other dishes that needed to be washed, Tristan had finished unwrapping the parts of the crib and that was the moment Blake decided to stroll in through the front door and into our front room with a big smile on his face. Gross. Me and Tristan looked at each other before sighing loudly just as Blake went to sit on the couch, sprawling all over it like he owned the place making me laugh a little.
'Get your ass up and into the room right now before I hurt you, Princess Peach.' Tristan said. I looked up from wiping my hands on the towel and asked, 'Princess Peach?'
'Yeah.' He smirked towards a glaring Blake. 'He bruises easily.' This time, I laughed out loud not bothering to stop because I found this so funny especially with how Blake's face was right now.
'Hello darlings!' Layla walked in with a smile on her face. There was something different about her but I couldn't put my finger on it. 'You like the new look?' She took her jacket off and gave us a twirl. Her hair was cut into a bob but I can tell that it was longer as she had curly hair, not only was that one of the changes but the other one was she got a new piercing on her ear as well as her nose and got a tattoo which was small but you could still see it.
'Nice, didn't think you could actually look pretty.' Blake said smugly, but that soon went when he got punched by Layla who only looked down at him. 'You're just jealous that you can't be as pretty as me, Princess Peach.' I doubled over in laughter one more time.
Me and Layla were enjoying the sun outside by sitting on the patio while drinking lemonade. Usually these days are just too bothersome for me but now, I actually kind of like this weather and it seemed like baby boy was enjoying it too. We were catching up a lot on what has been happening for the past couple of days and I even told her about Kieron, someone she hasn't liked after a one night stand between the two of them. I didn't even know that happened until a couple minutes ago which made me spit out my nicely sugar lemonade; I was disgusted is an understatement.
'So what's that tattoo of?' I asked her pointing to her shoulder blade where the tattoo had revealed itself a little more, looking as if it was a rose or another type of flower. Layla looked down at the angry red looking tattoo before pulling her top a little to the side revealing the beauty of it, it was two flowers that (I can't explain cuz I don't know the flowers name) were slightly together and it was a colourless tattoo but even without the colour, it looked so beautiful.
'It's for when my God baby comes into the world. As he gets older, going to write a quote for him and going to colour the tattoos in his favourite colours or colours that suits him.' There were tears in my eyes at her words because I remember telling her that I wanted a tattoo like that but I had a fear of needles. 'Thank you.' I whispered before pulling her in for a long hug.
'Alright! Enough with the hugs and kisses, actually kiss more...could b-' Blake's words were stopped when both Tristan and Layla hurt him. 'What he was meant to say was that the nursery is done and both of you can come see now.'
I squealed as I tried getting up from my seat but failing so Layla and Tristan had to help me but then I speed walked towards the stairs and into the nursery which was next to our room, or the room I had slept in so that I knew if he was going to be okay and so that I could keep an eye on him since there wasn't enough space for a crib and other baby stuff. The door handle was only inches away from my fingers but someone grabbed my wrist from behind and turned me around; I was facing Tristan who gave me a little smug smile.
'Not yet, Ki.' He said. I looked behind him to see Blake and Layla rushing towards us, racing each other to get into the room. 'They go in first then it's us.' I groaned while the other two rushed inside. I wanted to see what the inside looked like but I wasn't allowed to since Tristan's hands were placed firmly on my wrist while he laughed at the other two who were complimenting the room.
It suddenly clicked in my mind that Tristan was laughing. His eyes were glistening with joy while the corners of his eyes crinkled with happiness, his dimples were now making their appearance while his teeth were pure white as his lips were surrounding them.
His chest rumbled with a deep laughter which even made me smile a little because this was a good side to Tristan because he was happy. My thoughts disappeared when I heard Blake and Layla come out of the room gushing about how beautiful the room was making me want to see it this minute!
'Go in.' Tristan whispered as his eyes locked onto mine. I turned around and even before I walked in, there were tears in my eyes as I saw a glimpse of the room. 'We're going now.' Other voices were disorientated as I walked into the room, admiring every inch of it.
On the side of the room was the cot that I had bought but now there is toys hanging over it, the walls were painted a baby blue colour and had various car pictures on the walls, there was also a cabinet where all the babies stuff would go as well as a rocking chair facing the window.
The door leading to my room read "Mother Dearest" which made me laugh a little, a heart was hanging off the door handle making it sweeter. Near the crib was the cupboard where the baby's clothes would be, it was exactly what I had wanted. My breath caught when I saw the words "Always stay smiling x" on top of the baby's crib.
'You like it?' I turned to Tristan and hugged him really tightly as he chuckled awkwardly then slowly wrapped his arms around me. 'Thank you for listening.' I said, my voice was muffled since I said it into his chest. I pulled away and as Tristan was about to say something, the door burst open to reveal a frantic looking Blake.
'Aimee is badly hurt and she's downstairs with Layla, you need to come down quickly!' That was when I noticed the small amount of blood on his top. I moved passed Tristan who pulled me back and our eyes locked for a second before I pulled away from him to go see what happened to Aimee.
