Chapter 7: Hurt and Homo

The next day arrived and the twins woke up. They got up and did their morning routine, and then made breakfast. They ate and then got dressed. They decided to take a walk out in the city, before they started feeling a bit unsafe. They both bolted home but got separated, since Acronix was ahead of Krux. But Krux had the key.

Thinking that Acronix was already there, Krux opened the door and then quickly closed it and locked it. He looked over to the side and noticed that Acronix wasn't there. He looked all around the apartment. He wasn't there.

Acronix ran into a building, thinking it was home, he quickly pressed the elevator button repeatedly. Once it opened, he stepped inside and pressed a random button. He sat down on the floor, leaning against the wall. He was hyperventilating. The door opened, but he didn't move, he was too scared to move. All he did was curl up and cry.

Someone approached him. They saw how nervous and scared he looked.

"Excuse me, are you alright?"

He didn't even move.

It hit him hard. He tried drinking some water, but it didn't help. Something bad could've happened to Acronix. Krux didn't want to lose his brother. But he didn't want to go back out into the city. Tears started to come out of his own eyes. His breathing was all heavy, his heart was beating faster, and he couldn't stop crying.

It eventually became too much. He fainted.

He was now sitting down.

"Ok. Deep breaths. In through your nose, out through your mouth."

It was working. He was calming down a lot. The other person he was with got a spare rag and wiped the eye makeup off, since it was smudging.

"...thank you, Cyrus." Acronix said. "I know this is too much....."

"No, no. Not at all! I couldn't just leave you like that. I'm not heartless. And I know that you have no intention on attacking or hurting anyone." Cyrus said.

Acronix smiled a tiny bit.

"It's alright. I'm sure we will find him."

"No. YOU are going to find him. I can't go back out into the city! It scares me!"

They sighed.

"Listen, Krux. I know it's scary, but he's your brother. I'll be there with you the whole time, you won't be alone."

There was a knock on the door. They answered it.

"Acronix! Where were you?" They asked.

"I don't know. We got separated and I ended up somewhere." Acronix answered.

Krux immediately ran to the door and hugged Acronix tightly. Acronix hugged him back.

"I thought I lost you....." Krux said.

Their neighbor had the two of them go inside and sit down on the couch. They explained what went on while Acronix was gone. And Acronix didn't want to share what went on while he was lost in the city. But in reality, he realize that he was indeed very, very, VERY gay.

After that, they both went to bed, since it was very late now. And every night, Acronix would sneak out if the apartment to go see the man that he suddenly fell in love with. And he would come back an hour later. The cycle went on for a few weeks until Acronix finally passed out from sleep deprivation. He woke up just a day later.

"How was your sleep?" Krux asked.

"It was good." Acronix answered.

".....do you know what love feels like?" Krux asked.

"No." Acronix answered.

"Last night, our neighbor told me that he was in love with me. I don't know how to feel or what to do. And I've always felt attraction to women but at the same time I felt.....attraction to men." Krux said.

"You're bi." Acronix said. "And I'm pan."

"What?" Krux asked.

"We ain't straight. And the man that I met is bi." Acronix said, with a blush on his face.

"You're too gay for this." Krux said.

"I know." Acronix said. "You might be too gay for this too."

"SH-SHUT UP!" Krux said, with his face bright red from blush.

Their neighbor entered, since they had an extra key.

"Hey." He said, with a blush on his face.

Krux walked over to him and pulled him into a quick kiss by the collar on his shirt. He was surprised by the kiss, but then put his arms around his waist after the kiss ended.

"You're too cute. I love you, Krux." He said.

"Love you too, Chris." Krux said.

Acronix giggled.

"The fuck you laughing at?" Krux asked.

"That's fucking gay." Acronix answered.

"You're gay." Krux stated.

"I know." Acronix said.

Chris leaned in and kissed Krux again. It was passionate. He broke the kiss after a minute.

"You're so, so, SO, cute." Chris said.

Krux was blushing intensely. Acronix was giggling like a small child. He then got up.

"Where are you going?" Krux asked.

"To see someone." Acronix answered.

Acronix left the apartment. It was just Chris and Krux now. They sat down on the couch. Chris pinned him down shortly after they sat down. He had his hands above his head.

"I can't wait until it's time for me to officially make you mine~." Chris said before kissing him once again.

The kiss lasted for about five minutes this time. He pulled away and then gave him time to sit up.

"That was hot." Krux said, leaning his head on Chris' shoulder.

"You're hot." Chris said.

Krux fell asleep. He gave him a kiss on the head before slowly getting up. He put a pillow under his head and put a blanket on him before leaving and locking the door. It was going to be a while before Acronix was going to return.

The older twin Elemental Master of Time was happily asleep on the couch, with nobody to bother him.

No screeching.
No crying.
No groans of frustration.
Nothing.

It was all calm. But one question remains.

What is Acronix doing?
