((TRIGGER WARNING: Attempted Suicide))

Someone had to keep a close eye on his brother. Who knows what he'll do to himself when he is alone? It's getting scary. Really scary. All he could do was hope for the best.

.....

Two weeks have passed and the twins were showing some improvement. They were given medication to control their need for sex, and it was working. The family was in the living room, enjoying the fact that the twins weren't getting horny like every two seconds. They were also doing some family bonding time. Acronix was silent the whole time. Something's wrong.

"Acronix? Are you alright?" Cyrus asked.

Acronix simply nodded. He would usually give a verbal response. Something is seriously wrong. He suddenly felt sick. He wanted to throw up. His head hurt and his stomach ached.

"...I need to lay down..." Said Nixie.

"I'm coming with you. You're not acting like your usual self and who knows what you'll do when you're alone." Cyrus said. "Or you can lay down out here."

"...I... need... my bed..." Acronix said.

Cyrus then took him into the bedroom and just held him close when they were both laying down. This was so he couldn't go anywhere and do something to get himself killed. Acronix felt too weak to use his powers anyways.

He felt so sick. He felt like he was dying. He wanted to die. All he had to do was wait. He couldn't keep doing this, he couldn't keep living. He felt like a burden to everyone else, he felt like a waste of space and oxygen, he felt like a waste of money, and he felt like a waste of a person. But he had a plan to end it all once and for all, not knowing how the others would feel. All he needed was his medicine and some water.

This was it. He was finally going to die. But who knows if he might live? He just wanted to end it all, just stop living, and just stop suffering. He could talk about it, but it seemed useless now. He really needed his medicine and some water. He needed to be alone so that nobody would know if he died or not. He just decided to tell his husband to go get it for him and hope that he doesn't catch on to what he's gonna he doing.

"Cyrus?"

"Yes, dear?"

"Can you go get me my medicine bottle and a bottle of water?"

"Did you take your medicine this morning?"

"No."

"Are you lying to me?"

"No."

"Will you try to overdose in an attempt to kill yourself?"

"No."

"Alright, then. I hope you'll be responsible with this and not take too much."

That was close. But he did get his medicine and a bottle of water.

((Trigger warning:))

He opened the bottle and took a handful of pills. He popped them into his mouth and drank some of the water. He repeated this process about another two times.

And there it is, he finally felt the effects. This is it. He's finally gonna he free. At least that's what he thought, until Valentine saw him and screamed.

.....

He was now fading in and out of consciousness. They had to keep him awake or he might never wake up again. People were talking and it didn't sound right, he could tell who was speaking though.

"Officer, please! We need to get to the hospital!"

"How important is this?"

"My brother tried to kill himself! He's fading in and out of consciousness!"

"You should've called an ambulance."

"That would've taken too long!"

"Officer, just hurry up and write the ticket so my brother-in-law doesn't die!"

He was then being spoken to.

"You'll be alright, we're almost there. I love you."

His brother looked back at him.

"Brother, please don't close your eyes! I love you!"

And those where the last things he heard before everything went black.

.....

"Is he alive?" Cyrus asked.

Krux was already in tears. His brother could be dead and he only got to say an "I love you" to him.

"...he is alive." The doctor said. "He just woke up so be gentle with him."

Krux immediately went into the room and hugged his brother tightly, to which he got a hug back. The nurse that was in there spoke to him.

"The doctor believes that the anti depressant he was taking didn't work right. It probably interacted with another medication. We're going to try an new one."

He nodded.

"We're keeping him here for the next week or two, just to keep an eye on him."

"Just as long as he's ok."

He was then given some time alone with him.

"Why did you do it?"

"...I couldn't handle it anymore..."

"You could've talked to someone."

"I know, but... I'm scared to."

"Not even to a therapist?"

"Not even to a therapist."

"It's unhealthy to keep it bottled up inside."

"...I'm sorry..."

He began to cry. And soon, the others were allowed to enter the room.

"How is he?" Chris asked.

"He's... he's in a very fragile state right now." Krux replied.

All of these events were scarring. They didn't know what to say and or do. They didn't want to have to babysit him because of this, but they might have to. All they could really do now is hope.

.....

For the past few days they were in and out of the hospital, visiting him whenever they can. Krux would even stay overnight to be with him, which the doctors and nurses were ok with because he was better when his brother was there.

They did start new medication for him and that seemed to be working, as he did improve. Soon, a nurse came in with some papers.

"What are the papers for?"

"We have decided that it's time."

"Time for what?"

"Time to let him go."

"So... does that mean?"

"Yes. We are letting him go home early."
