Chapter 8: A Fight

Acronix was out in the city, walking. He was going to see Cyrus. He entered the building and took the elevator up. He then exited the elevator.

"Hey." Acronix said.

"Oh, hello, Acronix!" Cyrus said.

He found a place to sit down and sat, Cyrus then came over to him.

"So, what happened while I was gone?" Acronix asked.

"Not much. Just some work." Cyrus answered.

"So um.....we've developed kind of a friendship and....." Acronix started to say. His face all was red with blush.

"Acronix? Are you alright?" Cyrus asked.

"I...I like you. Like, like LIKE you." Acronix replied, still blushing. "I-It's ok if y-you say n-no."

Cyrus blushed.

"I...I feel the same way about you too. I'm not saying that to make you feel better, I genuinely feel attraction towards you." Cyrus said.

The two of them leaned in and kissed. They pulled away after a few seconds before he motioned for Acronix to come sit on his lap. He did so and then they kissed again. After a couple of minutes, they pulled away for some air.

Meanwhile, the Ninja were discussing something, Kai was still salty about what happened. Why did it have to happen to him? They were the evil ones. But true fear in their eyes, the way they were shaking, everything. He had to. Kai got up and left. He went into the city.

Krux got up and went somewhere for breakfast with Chris. They were talking and stuff. At this point, the twins were fully accepted into society, as everyone picked up that they had no intention on attacking or anything. They even sent out fruit baskets to the people that were affected the most. Chris paid for the breakfast and then held Krux's hand and walked out with him.

Chris let go of his hand.

"I have to go to work now." Chris said as he handed some money to Krux. "Go shopping or something. Or you can go home. Either way, I want you to be happy, and content while I'm at work. I love you."

He kissed him. Krux put the money in his pocket.

Kai soon arrived in the city. He walked until his saw someone with black hair. They were wearing a red shirt with black pants. Could be anyone, right? The person turned to the side and started walking. Those eyes.

"I knew it!" Kai said.

He tackled them.

"I KNEW IT WAS YOU! WHERE IS ACRONIX?!" Kai asked.

"GET THE FUCK OFF OF ME!" Krux demanded.

He broke free.

"You're powerless! You can't beat me this time!" Kai said.

"Why do you even want to fight? There is no point." Krux asked.

"YOU'RE EVIL! A KNOWN VILLAIN!" Kai replied.

He summoned fire, tried to attack, but missed. Krux rewinded time. Kai was then stopped in time. Krux tried to walk away but Kai wouldn't let him. The two of them fought until Chris got out of work. Chris and Nya arrived on the scene.

"Ok. What happened?" Nya asked.

"He started it." Krux answered.

"Nya! Listen! He's evil! And he has his powers!" Kai said.

Acronix suddenly appeared due to fast forward. Kai went to go attack but he was slowed in time. Nya gave Kai the death stare.

"Also rumor has it that my boss just got a partner. Someone said that they heard kissing going on." Chris said.

Acronix laughed nervously before fast forwarding out of there.

"I'm telling Wu that you were fighting. You're not allowed to do that as punishment for burning down that village!" Nya said.

"NO! PLEASE!" Kai said.

Jay soon arrived on the scene. And so did Cole. Nya explained what happened when she got there. Kai was trying to justify himself while Krux was telling his side of the story.

"So they have their powers back? But how? Didn't Wu say that he and Garmadon took their powers from them?" Cole asked.

"They did fall out of the vortex. That's probably how Krux is young again. And it most likely explains why their powers are back." Nya answered.

"Kai! You can't do that!" Jay said.

Wu soon arrived with Zane and Lloyd.

"What happened?" Wu asked.

"Kai fought." Jay answered.

"IM TRYING TO EXPLAIN! NONE OF YOU ARE LISTENING TO ME!" Kai said. "THEY HAVE THEIR POWERS BACK!"

"Kai. Stop. Leave them alone. They're not doing anything to cause harm, so why are you doing this?" Wu asked.

"Their actions will not go unpunished!" Kai snapped.

"Being lost in time was karma. We are TRYING to be good people! But YOU committed arson! And then attempted it again!" Krux said.

Acronix appeared again. He stuck close to his brother, as the arguing was getting overwhelming.

"Let's just stop this. My brother is getting very overwhelmed by all of this arguing." Krux said.

"We are very sorry that this has happened. We will make sure that this will never happen again. And I believe that you two will do great things." Wu said.

"Yeah, right." Krux said, rolling his eyes.

"I'm serious." Wu said. "Come on. Let's go home."

Everyone followed Wu home. Chris took the twins home.

Acronix sat down on the couch and drank a glass of water, slowly calming down. That argument was overwhelming for him. He took deep breaths while Krux was sitting next to him doing word searches.

"I'm ordering take out for you guys. Anything you want?" Chris asked.

"Ramen." They both replied.

"Ok. Do you want me to make it for you? Since there's already ramen in the pantry." Chris said.

"Mhm." They both said.

Chris started to make ramen for the Twins, who were still recovering from the fight and the argument. Once the food was done, they ate and then sat back down.

"You two should probably get ready for bed soon." Chris said.

They got up and got ready for bed, then they got in bed and went to sleep. Chris stayed with them for the night.
