David was whispering something to the guy next to him. You can't make out what he was saying, but it was probably some sort of insult about the teacher. You and your BFF, Jennifer Mack, both start giggling. "What did David whisper?" you whisper to Jennifer. "You'll find out, trust me."she continued giggling and looked over at the teacher.
The teacher noticed you guys and sighed. "Y/n and Jennifer, what's so funny?" he asks in a suspicious tone. "I-I...NOTHING!" you begin laughing out loud, as well as Jennifer. You turn to glance at David, just to see him smirking at you. The teacher looks at David and he shakes his head. "Alright, Lightman, maybe you can us who first suggested asexual reproduction without sex?" David looks at you and winks...Is that a good or bad thing???

"Um...your wife?" you gasp and you cover your mouth in shock. The teacher exchanges glances between you and David. "Awe, I see now. David, do you have a crush on Ms. y/l/n?" David's eyes widen and he's trying to make out words, but no luck for him. "Don't tell me, tell y/n your answer." you blush when you hear that. "Is it true, David Lightman?" Jennifer asks him smirking then looks at you. David looks at her and he gulps nervously. "What if I don't answer sir?" David asks the teacher nervously.
"Then, you'll get sent to the office-on account of your insult from earl-" he goes silent then he nods. "Actually yeah, get out Lightman! Get out!" the teacher points to the classroom door. David starts gathering up his stuff and heads for the door. "Whoa, hold up there, partner." the teacher stops him and David rolls his eyes at him.
"I need one of you students to walk Mr. Lightman down to the office please." the teacher looks around the room, until he spots you and he smirks. "Y/n, how about you take him down there? I'm sure David would just LOVE that." he snickers and so does the rest of your classmates. You gulp and nod your head, you get up and hesitantly walk over to David. You grab the office pass on your way out so that you two don't get in trouble, especially David since he once again is in trouble. You really don't want to get in trouble when it's certainly not necessary to.
You and David have been best friends for as long as you can both remember, so maybe he truly does like you. "You've really got to chill out with your behavior man. One of these days, something could seriously come back to knock you on your a**." you scold him. He looks at you and shakes his head. "It's fine y/n. I'm gonna be alright." David says, but you just laugh at his comment sarcastically. "Yeah right! David, you are such a nut job, dude!" he chuckles then stops walking all of a sudden. "What are you doing? David, let's go, we've GOT to go to the office right now!" you tug on his arm, but he doesn't move.
"The fact that I'm a nut job-is that why you like me?" you're now at a loss for words. "And your own self, David?" he blushes at you. "I admit it, okay? I do like you! In fact, I'm CRAZY about you. I've just been trying to find the right time to tell you." he scratches the back of his neck. You pull him into an embrace. "Hey, what are you two doing? Are you guys lost or something? What's happening here." David and you look at the random teacher speechless. "We are heading to the office, we're having a moment. Sorry about this." you politely tell the teacher. He eyes you two suspiciously and he looks at the pass in your hand. You show him the office pass and you guys make your way to the office again. Just before he enters, he pulls you in a for a passionate kiss-wasn't expecting that honestly.
You guys pull away eventually for air. "Wow...that was intriguing and weird. Wow, okay then." you chuckle. "You okay?" he asks you concerned. "Definitely!" you smile at him. "Call me tonight, alright, y/n? Or come to my house after school ends." you nod and grin at him. "Okay, but no funny business tonight, Lightman!" he laughs and nods while opening the office door, you head back to Biology. 'Perhaps we will become boyfriend and girlfriend!' you think and squeal quietly to yourself as you feel a sudden adrenaline rush, and excitement begin to flow through your body. Hopefully he doesn't get detention or something crazy.
