The next morning, I awoke feeling much different than I normally do. When I wake up, I usually feel a sense of emptiness; emptiness that stems from normally having nothing to look forward to aside from hoping I'm left alone. I awoke knowing that there is someone in my house that isn't trying to kill me for once. Getting out of bed, I turned to my left to grab a set of clothes out of my drawer for myself and I took out some of my smaller for Toga. I left my room, made my way to the bathroom and I saw that Toga was still asleep before I went inside. She looked to be at peace as she slept in that odd position of hers.
I took my shower, got my hair in order, stepped out of my bathroom to nearly walk into Toga as she was sleepily walking to the bathroom.
"Hey, maybe you should fully wake up before you start walking around." I say while stepping back.
"Whatever, man, just get out of the way. I have to use the bathroom." Toga says while yawning halfway through her speech.I moved out of her way to let her use the bathroom and I waited in the guest room for her to return. During my wait, I took the time to fix her shoes as best as I could without using my quirk. I took some leather off a belt I wasn't wearing and some solid plastics to fill in the areas where the tears and holes were. It didn't look very good, but it won't be very noticeable if I put some brown paint on them.
"What are you doing with my shoes? You look incredibly suspicious hunched over them like that. Please tell me you didn't put something in them." Toga said as she came back into the room.
"I didn't put something in them, I put some plastic and leather on the tears to try and fix them. As you can see, it doesn't look very presentable but it's nothing some brown paint won't fix. Anyway, take these." I said to her as I stood and handed her the other set of clothes I was holding."Why are you giving me your clothes?"
"You've been wearing the same set of clothes, underwear included, for the past two days now. I don't know about you, but I like being able to change clothes when they are available to me. I may have been able to remove the surface dirt from them yesterday, but they still need to be machine washed. Is that a good enough answer for you?""Have you been watching me that closely?! Normal people don't do that unless they have some kind of motive." She exclaimed.
"Oh for God's sake, anyone with eyes can see the outline of your bra in the light Toga. You were wearing the clothes when I met you, meaning you've had to have worn them that day, you wore them yesterday and now it's today. Two whole days minimum you've been wearing the exact same clothes. Just take my clothes and wear them for the day. You'll have to make do without a bra though since I obviously don't wear them." I explained while throwing my hands in the air."What if they don't fit me?"
"Then you can wear my athletic, form fitting clothing if my jeans and shirt are too big for you. Go hop in the shower and stop trying to find something to accuse me over already.""Ok ok damn."
"I'm going to get breakfast started. I'm making waffles, ham and eggs."
Toga and I walked in opposing directions to go and take care of our respective duties. By the time I had finished making breakfast, she walked into the kitchen area with a significantly less amount of suspicion compared to yesterday and it looked like my clothes fit her without any issues. With what she had on, being one of my black and red flannel shirts and a pair of my blue jeans with her hair down, she looked like the lead singer of a rock band. She took her seat at the opposing end of the table and just like yesterday, I slid her plate of food to her alongside a glass of water. This time, she didn't bother waiting for me to give her confirmation to eat as she dug in as soon as the plate stopped sliding.
