MICHAEL'S POV

Damn neighbours' dog kept waking me up. I always forgot to ask them if they'd keep the thing inside the house, but I'd forgot when it comes to night. I yawn and stretch in bed, the white sheets covering most of my body. I roll out of bed and look at myself in the mirror; my hair was messy and a ruffled up, still looking somewhat presentable. My head turns down to my exposed upper body and I roll my eyes at the growl of my stomach begging for food.

My feet step down the stairs, and I grab a bowl of cereal, and pour it in with some milk and sit on the couch and flip through channels.

Everything was boring and just filled with current events of the world; hell no. I switch stations to the Xbox and grab my controller and play FIFA. Typical me.

The hours go by, and I don't even realise. I check the clock and it's about one in the afternoon. I felt active today, I wanted to do something. My immediate reaction was to call up Luke.

"Come over." I state as soon as he picks up.

"Hello to you too, Michael. How are you?" He's so annoying, God.

"Shut up, Luke."

He sighs through the line and asks why I'm calling. "I haven't seen you in a few and we 4 haven't had a guys night in some time. Why don't we tonight?"

"I... I can't."

"Why the fuck not?"

"Double date. Going with Cal and Jay, and my girl," I can practically here his grin and see him looking at her on the other line.

"So it's serious huh?"

"What?"

"This whole dating thing?"

"Yes, did you think it was a joke or something?" He sasses me.

"Well all you guys have changed. Cals in a relationship, so are you, ash is developing something for this Bri girl. I've literally lost my friends to girls. What happened to just messing around?" I sigh, and finish off exasperated.

"I know michael, okay? I get it we're all I guess in a committed relationship and I know how lame we all thought it was. But it's the best fricken thing. Try it. While we're out tonight, go and get a girlfriend, not a one night stand. Gotta go now. Bye." I hear the continuous sound of the hanging up tone.

I drop my phone on the floor and grunt in frustration. I hate this. They're all doing something we all promised to not do. But they're all happier without me; I know it.

My feet race upstairs and shower as quickly as possible. I shave a little bit, throwing on black skinnies and my misfits sweater. I run my fingers through my hair and head out the door with my phone and wallet.

"You're gonna get a girl." I mumble to myself, stepping into my Stingray. Checking myself in the rear view mirror, i smirk and drive off.

JAYCEE'S POV

"Calum? Ready to go?" I yell from downstairs as I sip on coffee. We made a quick stop to his place so he could change into a slightly dressier shirt.

"Coming," he says and I hear the heavy thuds of footsteps coming down. He slips on his vans; classic Calum. I slip on my flats and walk outside as he locks up. He tosses me the keys and I catch them, unlocking the car for us. He takes the driver seat and I the passenger. The key ignites the engine and he reverses out of the driveway, and onto the street. He speeds slightly, and I don't care at this point. Im enjoying the feeling of the wind blowing through my hair and I see him glare at my enjoyment of this carefree feeling. His hand reaches out to the volume adjuster and music blasts from his car; one of his favourite bands, Green Day. He starts singing along ridiculously making me judge him, in loving ways of course. I laugh at his idiocy but he smirks at me and digs his fingers into my side making me laugh hysterically.
