I've always wanted to throw my alarm at the wall in the mornings. The ringing in my ears would disturb me from my slumber. The worst part being I forgot to turn it off; the only downside to just beginning summer break. I grunted while sitting up. Without a surprise, I pulled the covers back on my face, and fell back into my plush bed, letting the mattress cradle me with its foam. I lay there tossing and turning for a good five minutes, and decided to plug in my headphones and I put them in my ear. Drifting off into a good sleep, my brothers decided to barge into my room and jump on my bed, making me groan even more.

"Oh my god! Get off!" I pushed them off my bed, and stomped to my door, slamming it shut in their face and locking it. Why did I have to be cursed with those two?

Great. They started pounding the door and knocking, making me yell into my pillow. I opened up the door and as kindly as possible, I said,

"Come into my room again, and I'll beat you up. Understand?" I towered over them, and set my voice clear. They nodded quickly and ran back to their rooms, hitting the gaming devices.

"Jaycee! Come down!" My mom shouted from the kitchen. My arms reached for the closest sweater which I threw on, and I ran downstairs, kissing her on the cheek, wishing her a good morning, and grabbing a mug for coffee.

"What are your plans for today?" My mom asked, leaning against the counter taking a sip of her drink.

"I was going to have Cal over," I grabbed toast and started to spread peanut butter on it.

"Cal?"

I nodded taking a bite and rolling my eyes. We've gone through this conversation multiple times. "Yes mother. Cal; Calum Hood," I shrugged.

"Why can you not have a best friend that's a girl?" She sighed.

"Because girls can be bitches," I took another bite.

"Ooh! Jaycee said a bad word," my little brother, Jett said.

"Shut up you-"

"Jaycee!" My mother stopped me quickly.

"Sorry. And Cal's a great guy. I don't know why you don't like him." There was absolutely no problem with Calum, why could she not just see that?

"Because he has all those tattoos and ripped jeans and holes in his clothes. It's not very posh," she shivered.

"Different generation mom," I sighed and kissed her again and ran back up to my room and planted myself on the bay window seating area in my room. My arms grabbed the phone and started texting Cal.

"Heeyyy Cal."

"Hi J. Sup?"

"Want to come over today??"

"Yes"

"Sweet. Drop by whenever:)"

"How about now;)"

"Hmm?"

"Window!"

I turned my head to the window and saw the familiar figure. With his muscle tank that had holes in the most random places, and black ripped jeans, and black vans. He had his skateboard in one hand as well. I chuckled and made my way downstairs, to open the door to him.

Calum took up on the offer of coffee and we headed into the kitchen where we earned a look from my mother.

"Hi mrs. fields," calum smiled a charming one.

"Hi calum," she walked out of the kitchen. She could be more supportive.

"Is she oka-"

"It's alright. She just wish I had a girlfriend instead of a guy friend," I handed him a mug, as we leaned across the counter.

"But I'm amazing!" He defended.

"Far from it," I teased.

"No," he spat and sipped his coffee. We made our way to the entertainment room and picked a movie on Netflix to watch. He set up the pull out couch, as I got popcorn ready along with a twix candy bar. I came back to see the pillows surround the bed/couch and I smiled and ran and landed on the couch, popcorn flying over the couch.

"Jay, you're such a pig!"

"You're such a girl!" I popped some of the crunchy treat into my mouth. He lay down beside me and we both stuffed ourselves during the movie with popcorn. By this point, I had a sweet tooth and decided on having the twix bar, just to find out there wasn't a single crumb left.

"Cal? Did you eat all the chocolate?" I asked looking at him. He turned his head to me and grinned.

"You're such an ass," I whacked his arm and turned my head back to the movie.

"Shut up. You love me," he scoffed.

"Why are you so full of yourself?"

"Why shouldn't I be?"

I sighed and focused my attention back to the screen.

Calum dusted the couch as I put the bowls away in the dishwasher. I took a seat on the couch, still in the form of a bed, and so did Cal.

"What now?"

"I dont know," I shrugged. "Ah!" I jerked suddenly as I felt two fingers press into my side making me squeal. "Calum stop it!" I moved away from him.

"No!" He pounced on me, continuing the torture. The pain was unbearable and I squirmed and looked so helpless. My screeches were incredibly high-pitched and I tried pushing him off me, but Calum was too built. At this point, I was flat on my back and Calum's knees in between my thighs, hovering me and torturing me with the hilarious pain. He finally stopped and I had to take many breaths to calm myself down. My eyes stared into his as his did into mine. We both sighed of laughter and shook our heads.

I pushed myself up using my elbows, Calum still between my thighs sitting peacefully. Our foreheads were inches away and our hot breaths mixed together, in an attempt of controlled breathing.

"You know, when I said you love me, you never did actually reply to that," he said, breathing heavily gasping for air. Where was this coming from?

"Well Calum, you know I love you like a br-" he silenced me with his finger pressing over my lip.

"Can't you just stop at you? Do you have to continue with like a brother?" he mumbled.

My heart started racing and it was compressing. My palms grew sweaty and I was weak at the knees.

"What are you feeling right now?" he questioned again. "Speak," he pulled a strand of hair behind my ear. How cliché but his act of affection made me suffer.

"My heart rate sped up, and I feel numb and my palms," I look at them and see the shining liquid drip slowly.

"That's me. Everyday. When I'm around you," his hand cupped my cheek and he brought my face closer to his, every second. I bit my lip, not prepared for the next move, but all I could say was wow.

Calum's lips pressed against mine in a soft touch. They interlocked with each other perfectly, like they were designed to pair with the other. His hand travelled down my neck, pulling me in closer as I decided to join in, and snake my arms around his neck pulling him closer. Calum's hands, now on my lower back, pushed me onto his lap, making me yelp which led to us giggling, and he pecked my lips again with delicacy.

"So this makes us...?" I blush, looking down at my lap.

He tilted my chin up, making me gaze into his brown eyes. "Anything. You title it," he smirked, pressing a kiss on my nose and I closed my eyes and smiled at his affection.

This was quite a day.
