ASHTON'S P.O.V
The inhalation sent a rush of intoxication through my vains. We managed to get on the patio stairs; who knows how. Most of the night couldn't be remember, but I glanced down at my phone and it was one o'clock in the morning. My back was against the wall, and my legs out in front of me, spread open, as Bri sat in between them, her head against my chest, as I used my fingers to play and twirl with her soft hair.
"What are your plans after school?" She asked me, her voice timid. So beautiful.
"Nothing planned yet. I dont know. I don't care," I said shoving the blunt between my lips, inhaling. "What about you sweetheart?"
She sighed. "I don't know, but I haven't been able to come to tell my mom. She puts too much pressure on me, and that's why I start to crack up. I want to take a year off, and use it to have that time to do anything I want. I mean, school is a screwed up concept. We're in it for what; at least 20 years or so? I just want a break and a carefree year," she said, facing me, searching my face for answers. But she fell back onto me, making me cough.
"Would she support it?"
She shook her head. "She'd think its a waste of time and money. But I just want to figure out what exactly I want to do for the rest of the 40 years or so."
"I'll take you." Her head immediately turned around at my response, as she bent her knees up to her chest.
"What?"
"Name a place and I'll take you there. We can travel the world together," I mumbled, pecking her softly chapped lips, as I intertwined our fingers.
"Ashton we can't just-"
"We could see the Tokyo tower, or visit a Jamaican beach. We can stroll hand in hand through the streets of New York City," I paused, pecking the tip of her nose. "Rome to Rio. Maybe Las Vegas for some fun," I used my biceps to pull her closer to me, digging my face into her lush hair. "Maybe end off in Paris, at the top of the Eiffel tower, in the city of love," I tilted my head, trailing soft kisses down her neck.
"That sounds wonderful to be honest," she sighed, closing her eyes and smiling.
"You're wonderful, if we're being honest here," I chuckled, my chin resting on her shoulder. She whipped her head to her side, staring at me, her locks covering parts of her face.
"You're so cheesy when you're high," she giggled, kissing me slowly, as I lingered, but pulled away.
"Is this your first time high?" She slowly nodded.
"Yeah, but I never knew that going through two packs of cigarettes with someone would make me this... um... i dont know what I'm feeling," she laughed into her hair and shoulder, making me smile. Her innocence drove me wild.
"I put a special something in them," I smirked at her, blowing a bit of smoke into her face, as she shut her eyes.
"Bad boy Irwin?" She came closer, digging her fingers into my hair.
"Well I most definitely like the sound of that," I said leaning in, but she held me back by pushing on my chest.
"But back to travelling; are you serious or-" Her palm held my cheek, and I pressed my hand over hers, not wanting her to let go.
"Dead serious babe. But in all honesty," I stood up, and picked her up in my arms, making her yelp and laugh, and walking over to the couch, where I dropped both our bodies, "I'd rather spend my nights and days holding you in my arms on this same couch."
JAYCEE'S P.O.V
The vibrations coming from my nightstand woke me up suddenly. I immediately checked them, squinting at my phone, trying to read the messages; all were from Cal. There were about five.
