Chapter 50 Baby Gender

Finally glad Spen is starting to open up with me regarding his PTSD he experiences regarding Turner's torture.

I completely understand why he's close to giving up being a Federal Agent and I was the same as him before. I was close to retiring myself being a Spy Agent or even attempt to suicide because I was weak and not strong enough... to protect my loved ones. I was even close enough to become a murderer if it wasn't for Ethan to stopped me from killing those mafia people. I was one of those lucky people who as someone cares for me deeply. She's The One

Ethan is helping Octavia out to prepare dinner for the guest tonight. Reid and Novilene decided to tell everyone of their baby gender as they are looking forward to it. Most of them are betting their children are going to be three girls, two boys and one girl, two girls and one boy and three boys. Novilene and Reid didn't know their friends are betting their children behind their backs. It makes thing more interesting.

Kevin and Alex are preparing the game for them to figure out the baby gender much to their displease of hating each other's gut. They manage to be civil as possible for Novilene's sake whereas Ethan and Octavia are watching them in case they brawl again like a four-year-old child. Gideon also volunteers himself to help them out while Nathan is taking Reid somewhere to bond together. Maricar is re-styling the wedding gown for her granddaughter. Novilene is hanging out with Noelle and Zack out because it's been a long time for her to hang out with them during their day off.

"I've never seen Maricar be so..." Octavia trailed out her thoughts of the elder Cruz and Ethan chuckles. "Organize and always ahead when it comes to planning."

"Maricar wants to get that job finish and she also knows my dad's decision about them. My dad is going to give a blessing to them despite they elope before." Ethan explained and looking at his step-sister curiously. "How are you feeling?"

"Still mending and hard to move on." She chuckled sadly. "I'm already a widowed woman, Ethan." Octavia misses her family and thanking Novilene for giving a proper funeral for her husband and son.

"You have us, Octavia." Ethan assured her and he feels sympathy for losing someone you care for. Especially you're going to make yourself a sacrifice just to protect them from harm. "We're your family."

"Thanks, Ethan." She smiles and looking outside of the window to see Gideon is giving Alex and Kevin instructions for the decoration. "It's rare for Alex and Kevin are not bickering."

"Maybe because they're doing it for Novy's sake." He smirked and completely amused by their usual antics. "They want her affection more than our parents. She's the one who looks after Alex when he was young while our parents are busy their job." Ethan explained seeing her bemused expression.

"She's going to be a great mother." Octavia smiles and notices how Novilene cares for her younger siblings. "You could see how glowing she is."

"Spencer sure is lucky to have a wonderful woman like Novilene." He smiles and completely agreeing with her. "What are your plans now?"

"Novilene asks me to look after her triplets since I have no job at the moment." She smiles sheepishly and didn't have a job to pay the bills for them. Octavia's money is nearly finished as Novilene paid her for looking after Maricar and Kevin. She didn't need to get paid when it comes to family but Novilene compromised it to look after her triplets instead. "I said yes and she also asks... Noah or Noelle? To help me look after the triplets as well."
