Chapter 44 Wedding

Soon, Novilene is going to be my wife and the mother of my child. I couldn't believe this is happening to us. I've been with her for 1 year, 3 months and 10 days now.

Novilene is the right woman that I wanted to spend time with her for the rest of my life. She's everything to me and accepts me who I really am.

I never thought that a guy like me who has 187 IQ with an eidetic memory that can read 20,000 words per minute. Could actually date to a beautiful and intelligent woman like Lenny.

I'm going to have a full commitment to Lenny and spend my whole life with her forever.

She's The One

Novilene never met Reid's mother, Diana, before since she got kidnapped by the Fisher King. From what she could tell from Reid's story, Novilene understands why he left her at Bennington Sanitarium. Diana needs someone to look after especially she has Schizophrenia.

"What if she hates me?" Novilene blurted out and Reid stopped walking and looking at her. "Spen... is it too late to back out?" She squeaks and being carried like a bridal style.

"We came this far, Lenny." He continued to walk where his mom is. "You can't back out now."

"I'm meeting your freaking mother for crying out loud!" She hissed quietly and he chuckled in amused seeing her panic. "It's not funny."

"My mom will love you." He assured her and placing her down. "We're here."

Novilene mentally groaned and waving at the blonde woman with a nervous smile. "Hi?"

"You must be Novilene Cruz, right?" Diana asks her with a warm smile. "Spencer told me good things about you."

"I am... Mrs-"

"Please, call me Diana or mom." She holds her hands. "You're going to marry my son tomorrow."

"I am..." She blushed slightly while smiling.

"You're also glowing as well." She commented and Novilene looked at her with a skeptical look on her face. "You're pregnant are you?" Diana asks with a smile on her face.

"That's impossible..." Forcing herself to chuckled and noticed Diana didn't change her opinions. "How did you know?"

"I am a mother and it's an instinct whether the woman is pregnant or not." Diana explained.

"I'm not even surprised whether Mama knows it or not." She sighs heavily knowing it's futile to keep it a secret.

"How many weeks?"

"12 weeks now." Novilene answered and rubbing her stomach been showing a bulge. "It's hard to imagine this is happening to us."

"Even I can't believe Spencer found someone he's worth fighting for." She hugged Novilene that caught her off guard. "You're an amazing girl, you know that right?"

"Thank you..." She returned the gestures while Reid smiled at their interaction with each other.

Reid is lucky enough to know his mom is in a good mood and feels excited. Knowing her son is going to get married to the woman he loves.

They finally found the Unsub who kidnapped girls and turned them into humanoid dolls. Noelle changed her wet clothes to dry ones since she jumped off the lake to save a child before she could kill her.

"You did a good job, Noelle." Zack complimented her. "What you did is stupid and totally worth it."

"I can't stand of seeing another child murdered right in front of me, Zack." She spoke up and sighs softly. "I know she lost everything of her life... kidnapping and murdering a child is not the answer of bringing her back."
