I wanted to have a holiday so badly. Why can't the IMF leave me alone despite I'm no longer active with them? They managed to pull me whenever Ethan screwed the mission because of the impulsive and reckless actions he caused. Me, being the lovable stepsister I am, I have to save his ass. I swear Ethan is going to kill me someday. ~Novilene Cruz

Novilene fixes her scarf not wanting her father or anyone to fuss over the bandage around her neck. She and the others accomplished the mission of sending the Vipers back to prison. None of her teammate's injuries are in critical condition but only bruises. Other than that, they are fine. Novilene gave the Doctor permission slip towards Hotch that she can continue her job as long as she'll not scream out loud before going to the crime scene.

Needless to say, Novilene convinced Hotch not to say anything to them especially to her father if they knew she almost lost her head because of getting strangled by the thermal cut wire. Hotch agreed since Gideon is always overprotective towards her especially joining the secret organization.

"It was teaching an in-service. At the Baltimore Field Office when this came in." Morgan explained to them as they are inside of the victim's house. "Baltimore P.D's seen some grisly stuff, but never anything like this. We've got 2 bodies I.D'd as William and Hellen Dimarco. Retired, lived here for 37 years, no kids. Neighbor reports a white male 20-40 years old fleeing the scene and I quote, 'Hopped up on those damn drugs'."

"Eyewitness accounts are notoriously unreliable." Gideon commented as they are headed towards upstairs.

"So far it sounds like a standard double homicide. Why are we here?" Hotch questioned as Novilene couldn't help but think why they called them for?

Novilene blinked her eyes seeing the room is splattered with blood. "Massive overkill." She muttered and fixing her scarf as Reid noticed she's wearing a scarf around her neck. She ignored his stares by focusing on her work. "It's like we went back to the Vikings era on how they brutally murdered people."

"You got that right, mini Gideon." Morgan agreed with her statement. "Helen Dimarco was found here, tied to the chair in front of the vanity. No defensive wounds. Ligature marks around the wrists, one clean laceration from ear to ear."

"Looks arterial. Probably the carotid." Elle commented and staring at the ceiling. "At least she went quickly."

"The husband William was found in the shower but he wasn't quite as lucky. Ligature marks on the wrist and ankles and one long laceration up the abdomen through both layers of muscle."

"Evisceration- that's typical of disorganized behavior." Reid pointed out as Novilene wondered who would do this such a thing? To kill someone so brutal?

"Despite all the blood, this crime scene shows method, order, control. I'd say it's pretty organized." Elle pointed out and glancing at Novilene when she's busy analyzing the room in her cold calculative look. Elle didn't expect the young woman is a Spy and her skills are quite extraordinary that she understood why the IMF couldn't lose a potential woman like Novilene.
