Chapter 20 Machismo (Episode 19)

I'm happy that Julia and Ethan are back in one piece. I owed Zack a lot of helping them while we were got ourselves questioned Brassel our mission and how Musgrave was the mole behind all this mission. What it makes me more happier, I'm no longer active IMF Agent for good.

I feel so relieved that I'm no longer working with them. I'm forever grateful that Ethan helps me a lot to resign myself with them. Zhen, Luther, Declan, Benji and the others are happy that my wish has finally come true.

There's still one thing that I need to solve another problem. My relationship to Spencer Reid. ~Novilene Cruz

She's The One

Novilene got tackled a lot of hugged coming from Garcia, Morgan, JJ and Elle. The BAU team missed her so much and at the same time, worried about her well-being. She smiled lightly at Reid as he returned back the gesture as well. Novilene could tell that they are pleased to know she's no longer working in the IMF anymore.

"It's good to be back and we have a case to solve." Novilene informed them as she took a seat right next to her father.

"She's right." JJ agreed with her. "Allende Del Sol, Mexico, population 20,000. The victim is Lupe Trejo. 62." She showed the picture of the elder woman on the screen in front of everyone. "She was found in her home, stabbed in the face, chest and genitals. The papers down there connected her murder to 11 others in the past 2 years. All elderly women. They're saying it's the work of a serial killer." Novilene cringed of hearing all elderly women died because of a serial killer.

"The Mexican Government disagrees." Gideon pointed out.

"What kind of city is this?" Hotch asks curiously while observing the picture in his hands.

"Half factory town, half tourist town. The factory makes the tchotchkes and clothes that tourist buy. And even though the murders have happened in the... poor neighborhoods where the locals live-"

"Serial mullers make lousy tourist attractions."

"Yeah." She chuckled.

"So if the Government denies that this is a serial killer. Why'd they call us?" Elle asks JJ.

"They have suspect in custody, the victim's son." JJ answered. "Where are the serial killer experts? They want us to go down there and confirm that this was just a one time killing. Put the serial killer angle to bed."

"So we're going all the way down there just to prove they don't have a serial killer." Morgan pointed out.

"Maybe." Gideon spoke up. "Or we're going down there to tell him if what I've read in the Mexican papers is true, they've got one of the worst serial killers the country's ever seen, let's go."

She's The One

Novilene is making herself comfortable in the seat and knowing that they're to hold up their talking first right after solving the case. She knows that it eats Reid alive of their final kiss and saying three words to him I love you. What makes her more worried is Hotch couldn't celebrate his birthday to his family but having an emergency call from his work instead on the weekend.

"Hey." JJ called his Unit Chief. "At least you get to spend your birthday weekend in Mexico."

"Yeah, what's dog-house in Spanish?" Hotch asks sarcastically.

"La ca-sa del pair-o." Reid mispronounce it and Novilene shakes her head.

"It's La Casita Del Perro." Novilene corrected him.
