Chapter Nine: I Love It When You Call Me Señorita

Did you ever have the feeling that you are falling from the most exalt building in the world and your brain and your stomach churning continually and then you just jump out of bed and realize it was just a nightmare all over? I felt it. When any exam came.

I knew I wouldn't do that well (or fail) but it was always a bit fearful to go to exam halls. I absolutely hated it.

So as I was saying about that feeling, I again had it when I saw my math test result was in front of me. 47 out of 100. Passed for the 2 marks extra.

That didn't make any sense. I read very hard I swear. But was there any excuses why I did bad? I don't know.

I just finished The Fault In Our Star when our grandfather clock hit the bell of 2 o'clock.

Hell I needed a freaking tutor for math. And some other subjects. I will find them later but right now, I needed a math tutor.

The bell rang loudly and so suddenly that it ringed my ear painfully.

Running out from the classroom I immediately reached to the notice board that was full with senior students, trying to see their results. I knew it was pointless to try to for in that crowd. So I don't try.

And then I heard something.

"Jayden Flynn is the first, can you believe it? Oh my God, he was in front of me in the exam hall... I felt like to smile all the..."

Not interested to hear more from the cheerleaders, of course maybe the minions of Kate, I turned around.

He stood first? My eyes instinctively tried to find him in the crowd but he was nowhere. Where did that jerk go and how he doesn't know he's the first?

"Eve! Who're you finding?" An familiar arm bracelet which said R.O.S.E and the way she threw her hands around my shoulder didn't take me a second to realize who that was.

I sighed. "Jayden's the first."

Rosetta didn't show any kind of surprise. She might knew that. I thought about asking about Tyler but it would be too nosy to comprehend in their things so instead, I said. "I can't believe it either."

She frowned and looked up. "Either?"

Pointing my thumb behind my shoulder, I showed her the drama queens. "They don't or couldn't believe that too."

Showing her perfect teeth as a grin, we exchanged a knowing look with each other.
