Chapter Eighteen: Would You Rather Eat a Cockroach Or an Earth Worm?
"What is he doing here?" was the first thing Rose asks me the moment she entered in our house. Today was luckily Sunday but not too lucky because for whether the guy sitting across the living room on a couch or whether it's the rumor about two persons vandalizing which is a rumor but entirely true in the school and the two persons happen to be me and Jayden.
I talked to Rose all about the rumor. But I skillfully evade the fact that Jayden and I discussed the whole matter and have to keep away from each other from now on. If we can find the person who we are suspecting, things might change a little bit at school.
Currently there was only me, Rosetta and Eliot in our house and the good thing was not hearing Eliot's voice in a while. Who knows when his real action starts.
She grabs a golden pack of a Ferrero Rocher and put all of it in her mouth after unpacking the golden wrapper as I answered her question. "Aunt Charlotte and Uncle Greg went to visit some of their old friends. And unfortunately he didn't go there."
Eliot display himself on the couch and flirtatiously smiles at Rosetta.
"Hi Rose. It's been long."
She roll her eyes. "I'm eighteen you dipshit. Don't even think about it."
He winks and typed something on his phone furiously. "Age is just a number love. Besides you can't deny that I'm good looking."
She mutters. "Can I though?"
Curling up on the couch, she hissed in my ear. "Eve, why is he looking at me like that? I mean I know I'm pretty but no one impressions me in a creepy way."
I shrug and turned on the TV. "He does. You know V from BTS? That guy weirdly matches with him."
Her eyebrows creaked. "You mean the Korean boy band? They're cool. He looks like him?"
I tried to pick a movie. "Who knows? Look at his mullets."
Rosetta tried to look his mullets, trying to avoid eye contact as much as possible. Then she goes back to me again. "His mullet is really awesome."
I groan. "What do you want to watch?"
She stand up to make some popcorn, walking into the kitchen. "Not Marvel."
"Why?" I whine. She snaps at me from the doorway of the kitchen. "Because they're annoying. Fifty Sheds of Grey is much better."
Eliot and I scream at the same time from our place. "No way!"
"I thought you didn't like TV?" She ask him from there. He look at me in bewilderment. "I do! It's just I hate that movie. Who the hell falls in love with a guy in like two days?"
Rose glance at us back and forth before yelling. "I didn't say to play the movie I just said it was better than Marvel. Ugh just play whatever you like I don't even care."
She stomps out of our sight as I picked The Conjuring 2. From the corner of my eyes, I saw Eliot switching off his phone seeing the movie play and stands up. When he's near our main door, I shout and revealed the biggest secret of his life to everyone. "Scared of little ghosts already Eli?"
The door slams shut.
I laughed at myself for some good moments and then my phone beep in my pocket.
Mr Biggest Idiot in the World:Who shot out of your house?
I tched. He has to see everything.
Me:It was my cousin. More like my enemy.
