TMNT x Reader Raphael [ complete ]

~ recovery ~

You felt heavy your eyes couldn't open all the way your breathing was all over the place and you were in a cold sweat, pain was all you felt seeing nothing but darkness for a while.

After a few moments you managed to open them slightly, looking around you saw blurry hazes of gray and faint light slowly realizing you were on a cot that was in Donnie's lab, you had seen it before with medical supplies near by.

When your vision adjusted you saw Raph was sleeping and holding your hand, you smile weakly at your adorable softy, you tried to get up but whimpered at the pain and went back down.

'ow ow ow ! ok note to self stay the heck still'

"(y/n). .. . . . . .(Y/N!)", Raph woke up and looked at you with big soft eyes.

You wanted to say something back but you couldn't, you just held his hand tighter. Donnie came running in at Raph's  yell looking panicked.

"(y/n) how do you feel? any pain or discomforts?", he looked you over while asking the questions.

"m-y s-ide", you coughed as you spoke.

Raph grabbed the water near you and put it close for you to drink.

'I never thought water could feel so good', you hummed in relief.

Donnie checked your throat and side, he injected some medicine in the IV in your arm.

"how is she Don"

"well she shouldn't be moved, her throat is very swollen and she wont be able to talk for a bit also she wont be able to eat anything hot or solid for a while. Everything else seems to be stable and there's no internal bleeding", Donnie was typing on his computer while saying all this.

'no hot or solid food . . . its like getting my wisdom teeth removed all over again'

You stomach growled and you looked at Raph.

"I'll get you some apple sauce", he smiled and kissed your head.

when he left Donnie came closer.

"you will be able to get up in about 4 weeks or so since the knife didn't go that far in. . .but you'll need help getting around, be prepared for no privacy for a while". he said as Raph came back in with about 4 things of apple sauce.

'Bring on the sauce! im so hungry'

*time skip to 4-5 weeks*

 Getting around was a pain Literally you felt every little step and being carried was Out of the question, Raph took his time helping you seeing you  wince with every step broke his heart He hated seeing you in so much pain.

You sat on the couch not moving unless you Absolutely had to if you had to pee you would hold it till you couldn't anymore, food was brought to you and when it came to tv you enjoyed watching Mikey play and Kinda got into some Space hero's but would never tell anyone since Leo would want to Geek out and Raph most likely would tease you.

Splinter would often keep you company when the boys left for patrol but Raph would come back early when it was uneventful, sometimes April would come over and cheer you up while Casey would show you some moves he's been working on.

You would hate being alone that's when your thought's took over and felt like nothing, your fathers words would replay in your head and you would cry a bit but remember all the happy times you had with your mother, you knew he lied and just blamed you but deep down you couldn't deal with it all.
