Maybe it's not classy or polite to kiss and tell, Dahyun thought to herself as she clicked Chaeyoung's contact on her phone, pressing call, but it will help me try to sort out my feelings. The soft buzz of the ringer sent shivers down Dahyun's spine. It had already been twenty-four hours since she'd kissed Momo in the Young & Wild Entertainment practice room, but everytime she closed her eyes she felt as though she was back there, sitting on the cold floor just inches from Momo.

"Hey Dahyun," Chaeyoung's voice spoke from the other side of the line, sounding small and fuzzy through the phone's tiny speakers. "I was about to call you, actually."

"Oh, really?" Dahyun ran a hand through her messy hair. "Why?"

Chaeyoung didn't say anything for a moment. She was lying on her couch, across the cushions that she and Tzuyu had spoke to each other on a mere day ago. She was still thinking about what she'd said.

After Chaeyoung's astonished remarked in response to Tzuyu saying she might want to kiss girls, Tzuyu had just nodded. "I'm not sure yet," she'd said. Then, the younger girl had abruptly changed the subject, and the both of them had been too shy to steer the conversation back to what was actually on their minds.

It was chewing Chaeyoung up inside. She needed to talk to someone, and who other than Dahyun would fit the bill? But to the small secretary's surprise, Dahyun had rang her up first. And it was apparent right off the bat that Dahyun wasn't completely okay.

"Nothing," Chaeyoung told her after a quick moment of contemplation. "Anything happen?"

"Yeah. Yesterday."

"What about yesterday?" prompted Chaeyoung gently, not wanting Dahyun to be upset. She hoped the older girl's parents hadn't done anything to her. They could be pretty rude and blunt to their daughter, and Chaeyoung knew for a fact that their blatant homophobia and dislike of the arts bothered Dahyun significantly. Chaeyoung wished she could wrap her friend up in a blanket and protect her from anyone that could ever hurt her feelings.

But what Dahyun had to say was nothing like Chaeyoung expected.

"...Girls."

Chaeyoung's eyes widened and her interest piqued. "Oh? Who? Wait, that's a stupid question."

"Why is that stupid?"

The younger girl laughed softly. "Anyone with eyes know you and Momo have the hots for each other."

Dahyun's cheeks turned red at the comment. "That's not true. Even if I did like her, no one can just tell like that."

"Okay, Dubu," Chaeyoung chuckled, but it was clear that she didn't really agree with what Dahyun was saying. "What happened with Momo, then?" she asked curiously. She didn't want to argue with Dahyun about how clueless she was, especially since she was wondering what Momo had done to cause Dahyun to go as far as calling Chaeyoung to talk to her about it.

"Well, we were practicing late last night, we were just dancing and stuff, but Momo's been acting really odd lately. So while we were taking a short break from practicing I asked her if she was okay. It was so weird. She was acting so distant. We talked a little, she complimented my singing, then she told me to go to her. Obviously I did that, and we sat across from each other. I was so nervous feeling. Isn't that weird? Normally I'm just fine around Momo, but I felt weirdly sick."

Chaeyoung smiled knowingly. "Dahyun, I think you've got stronger feelings about her than you want to admit. Is that all that happened? Because it sounds like you've got a crush on Momo."

"Shut up, Chaengie. And no, that isn't even the main part."

"Oh?" Chaeyoung said, intrigued. "Carry on, then."

"She... She called me pretty..." Dahyun paused, her voice catching in her throat. She was afraid to speak the next part aloud, as if it was some sacred, desperately heavy secret she needed to keep.

"You are pretty, Dubu," Chaeyoung told her. "Everyone knows that."

"Yes, but everyone isn't Momo," Dahyun responded, shivering despite being wrapped in the covers of her bed. She sat perched on the edge of the creaky mattress, a faint smile crossing her lips at the recent memory. "And then... oh God, Chae, she told me I looked kissable."

Chaeyoung's eyes widened. She didn't say a word, sensing Dahyun's nerves. She felt afraid that if she said anything at all wrong, then Dahyun would clam up and restrain her feelings even more.

"And then... Well, I told her that she looked like that too. And then she," Dahyun had to pause to take calming breaths. "She leaned in to me, and so did I. After that she asked, and I said yes, and she kissed me. She kissed me."

"That's great," Chaeyoung said softly. "So, she likes you as well?"

"I don't know," Dahyun murmured in a choked voice. "And I don't know if I like her."

That bit got Chaeyoung. Dahyun really doesn't know, she realized. She's completely duped herself into believing she can't like girls. Truthfully, Chaeyoung shouldn't have been so surprised. Dahyun had always been a little odd when it came to talking about her own feelings, and Chaeyoung knew that she worried a lot about her own money. Because trainees weren't paid, Dahyun lived off of the allowance her family had agreed to give her. At least they were supporting her to an extent, especially since Dahyun was proud enough she had difficulty accepting financial help. If Dahyun was into girls, and her family found out... It was almost certain that Dahyun wouldn't be receiving anymore support from them, and that was something that Chaeyoung knew scared her.

"It's okay if you do," Chaeyoung told her. "And I know you're worried about your family not supporting you, but you deserve to be happy and free. Worst case scenario, we can be roommates and I'll convince Nayeon to let you work a higher paying job than your current one as well as be a trainee."

"Thanks Chae," she managed to say, her voice raspy. "You're the best. I love you."

"I love you too, Dubu. Get some rest, okay?"

"I will, but not yet. What were you going to call me for? Don't say it's nothing."

Chaeyoung blinked in surprise. She'd momentarily forgotten what Tzuyu had even told her the previous day, and how she'd called because of that. "Oh, yeah. I talked to Tzuyu. I told her I'm pansexual, and learned a little more about her past. And, well, she basically said she could be into girls, but isn't totally sure."

"I'm happy to hear that," Dahyun told, a genuine spark of happiness in her voice. "Did either of you confess?"

"No," admitted Chaeyoung. "I was close to telling her I like her, but I could tell she was a little uncertain, and she changed the subject immediately. In due time, I'm sure, I'll say something."

Dahyun sighed over the phone. "I know you will, and I know you'll be gentle, so I'm not worried about Tzuyu. But Chae, please be careful. I don't want you to be upset."

"I'll be okay."

"I know. It's just, you're my best friend. I care about you a lot, you know."

Chaeyoung smiled too. "You're my best friend too, Dubu. It's getting a little late though, we should probably sleep."

"Yeah," agreed Dahyun softly. "Good night, Chaeyoung."

"Good night, Dahyun."
