Nayeon brushed back her long dark hair out of her face, concentrating on applying the other girl's eyeliner precisely. She was no expert on makeup, but running a company as broke as hers meant she did a bit of everything.

"How does it look?" asked the girl she was doing the makeup on. Sana, her name was. One of the Japan girls. The company had only managed to promote two girls as models so far, and of the two, Sana was more successful, largely because of her charming and friendly aura. That was why she was their choice for a modeling photoshoot. If all went well, Sana may end up in a magazine and on a TV advertisement for the brand.

Nayeon shrugged. She was so tired. Last night she'd stayed up, discussing fashion choices with Annie and Sunghyun, their stylists, for Jihyo's upcoming comeback. Because it was early June and nearly summer, they decided to go for a mature but fun summer concept. But just because they had a concept picked out didn't mean they had the theme narrowed down and the color scheme picked out.

Fashion, Nayeon internally groaned. She liked it, but she was sick of it. She loved her management team, she really did, but she wished she could just leave the fashion choices to Annie and Sunghyun. But Annie, the most creative and clever as far as styling went, was self-conscious about her ideas and would opt for a less risky and more boring outfit over a more dangerous one. Sunghyun was more willing to speak his mind-- still quieter than what Nayeon would like, but at least he would talk unprompted. The problem with that was Annie's idea's were often overridden by Sunghyun's just because he was more confident. Nayeon, hoping to pull the company out of the drought they'd entered, wanted to make sure everything went perfectly, even if that meant missing sleep to work with the two.

Nayeon yawned, wishing she could go back to sleep.

"Are you too tired, Unnie?" asked the girl.

"Oh, sorry," Nayeon startled. "You asked a question before that, right?"

The girl nodded lightly, her chocolate colored hair sweeping across her shoulder. "I just asked how it looked."

Nayeon concentrated, squeezing one eye shut and trying to tell how even the two eyes were. "I think it looks pretty good. Here's a mirror, you can see for yourself." Nayeon grabbed the hand held mirror kept on the counter next to her for that exact reason.

Sana smiled at her reflection. "It looks nice. Thank you for doing it. When will I leave for the photoshoot?"

Nayeon checked the time displayed on her phone. "You have around fifteen minutes, then Sunghyun and Jeongyeon will take you."

"Both of them?" Sana said with surprise.

Nayeon shrugged loosely. To be honest, she wasn't totally sure. She'd forgotten to ask Sunghyun, who was assistant foreign manager, how that was going to work. Really, it would be wiser to ask Jeongyeon, but Nayeon felt hesitant to do so. Things were still icy between, no matter how much Nayeon wished they weren't. She wanted her best friend back, but she couldn't get over how much she'd loved the other girl, and how Jeongyeon seemed to have formed a close connection with one of the girls. Nayeon didn't want to notice it, but she couldn't help but notice and feel a tad jealous.

"And another question..." Sana said quietly. "Actually, I have a few. If that's okay."

Nayeon smiled gently. "Go ahead. I'm not leaving until Sunghyun or Jeongyeon show up to drive you there."

"Well, first... Can a few friends come to the shoot with me? They're from here, they're Japanese trainees like me. I'm sure you know them too, their names are Momo and Mina, and they've been really nice to me. And, well, we're all kinda lost and it's really hard to learn Korean, and it would be nice for them to see that I'm getting work, so they will too, because they're super talented. Seeing that I've been given a chance to model, well, hopefully it'll encourage them that it is possible for us to work hard and debut as long as model around." Sana spoke really quickly, as though nervous to speak her mind.
