Honestly, Tzuyu felt like she could barely handle her own excitement. She couldn't believe it.

Jihyo first win. Second Welcome first win. Tzuyu's first win, in a way. It was surreal. Unexpected, although it had been an unspoken wish in the back of many people's minds. Jihyo's last chance to get a win for the second single of the trilogy, and she'd gotten it. It was such a relief to hear, especially after the fake album-buying controversy and failure of the foreign expansion.

"Company second win," murmured Tzuyu aloud in a daze. "Chae, can you believe it? I'm on that track. My voice, Chae."

Chaeyoung smiled at Tzuyu fondly as she stared at the shorter girl's phone, scrolling through netizen comments about Jihyo's performance and win. She'd done the last performance without the song's delicate and detail-oriented choreo, focusing on her powerful vocals alone. Both girls had watched it together when it came out, and Chaeyoung had been absolutely blown away by the beauty the older girl possessed when she sang.

Tzuyu had started crying near the end of the performance, and had begun to cry even harder when Jihyo was revealed to have won. They'd been sitting on the couch in Chaeyoung's apartment as they so often did whenever Tzuyu hung out with the older girl, streaming the show on Chaeyoung's phone. Nearly an hour later, they were still there, Tzuyu less emotional but no less shocked.

"I'm so happy for you," whispered Chaeyoung softly, scooting closer to Tzuyu. "And Jihyo, of course, but right now, mostly just you."

Tzuyu giggled. "It's Jihyo's song."

"With your voice in the backing vocals, baby. It's practically your first win."

"I hope I have another first win with my name on it," sighed Tzuyu, slightly wistfully. "But for now, this will do. I can't believe the music video has millions of views and with my voice there, even if it's in only a small portion."

"You better believe it," laughed the brunette. "It's real."

"I'm happy," sighed Tzuyu with a puff of breath. "I'm really happy."

"Me too." Chaeyoung leaned her head against Tzuyu's shoulder. "You've grown so much."

"You haven't," chuckled Tzuyu, looking at Chaeyoung with a big smile that crinkled the corners of her eyes and showed her teeth. "You're tiny."

Chaeyoung rolled her eyes. "Yeah, okay, Tzuyu. I'm not that short though. You're just tall."

Tzuyu giggled. "I don't think so." Chaeyoung didn't bother to retaliate, only snuggling deeper into Tzuyu's shoulder.

A brief silence commenced, Tzuyu scrolling through Chaeyoung's phone. The smile that graced her lips stayed present at all the positivity the song was receiving. The comments called Jihyo beautiful, the song perfect, the performance emotional. A few comments even mentioned how they were impressed at how the company kept up their ideals of internationality and equality. "They featured a Japanese trainee and a Taiwanese trainee on this track as well~ that's so unique! I hope this entertainment keeps up the good music and kind treatment" read one of the comments on the performance. Tzuyu smiled as she read that one.

Chaeyoung watched Tzuyu, not at the phone. "You have a really beautiful smile," she said suddenly, her gaze fixed firmly on the model.

Tzuyu didn't look up, just stiffened a little before smiling even wider. "Thank you," she said softly. The shorter haired brunette snuggled into Tzuyu, closing her eyes and relaxing.

"This is maybe the happiest I've ever been," whispered Tzuyu in a hushed tone.

Chaeyoung hummed quietly in acknowledgement. "Yeah?" she prompted.
