Going to the ball was something I had looked forward to in ages and as I watched myself in the mirror I was sure nothing could go wrong. I knew that not only had Harry picked the perfect dress he had also picked the right color. Tonight was going to be magical.

The tears started forming in my eyes by the sight of the dress. It was most likely the most beautiful dress I'd ever seen.

"You alright there?" Harry asked with his hands stuffed down in his pockets, and I shook my head.

"No. Harry, this is too much. I can't accept this."

"You don't like it?" He looked upset, and I hated to see him like that but I knew it had cost a fortune, and I wouldn't accept that from him.

"I love it," I spoke honestly. "But this is too much," I said handing back the long, bordeaux colored dress. It was made of silk, and I could only imagine how soft it would feel against my skin and how beautiful I would feel wearing it.

"Keep it."

"Harry, no. Why would you even buy this for me?"

"I overheard your conversation with Perrie. I knew you had nothing to wear so I- Uhm-" He scratched the back of his neck.

"Harry that was really sweet but you didn't have to do this."

"I know. But I wanted to."

"It really is pretty," I said. Part of me was hating that I actually liked it so much.

"So you'll keep it?" The smile on his face was something I couldn't get myself to break even though I knew I shouldn't accept his generous gift.

"I really shouldn't, but.."

"But?" He raised his eyes at me looking hopeful.

"If it makes you happy then yes." I pecked his lips. "Thank you, but how many times do I have to tell you you don't have to do these things?"

"I like spoiling you. You better get used to that," he chuckled, and I gave him another kiss.

"You truly are the best.''

Thinking back at the memory my eagerness to see Harry only grew. I hoped he liked me in the dress he had so generously bought for me.

"You look beautiful," Sophia told me, and I gave her a smile in thanks, I truly did feel beautiful for once.

"It must have cost a fortune," Perrie added in and though I knew it had and I normally didn't want Harry to spent that kind of money on me, I couldn't help but love it. It was truly beautiful and I almost felt like a princess wearing it. The only thing that was missing was my prince, and I knew it was only a matter of time before he would come and sweep me off my feet.

"Of course it has. That boy is so in love with her that I'm surprised he hasn't married her yet." Sophia commented and Perrie laughed which made me blush.

"He doesn't love me that much."

"He loves you more-," Sophia started. "hun, I have known Harry before you and never have anyone seen him with a girlfriend before. All it was to him was sex. He never stayed with the same girl more than once and nobody was able to really get under his skin. He even quite smoking if that isn't something, I don't know what is. He is madly in love with you. I promise you that. You are different than the girls he'd normally go for. A good different. He's finally realised that everything isn't about money and that life isn't just about partying every night. I'm not sure how you did it, but you definitely brought out the good in him."
