Rouge's POV

"So he has a business meeting with McLaughlin Group?" Tanong ni Mommy Jean. Kakarating nya lang para maghatid ng lunch namin.

"Opo." Sagot ko at tinulungan syang ilapag ang mga pagkain sa lamesa.

"But it's already lunch time and he's not here."

"May meeting din po kasi siya sa mga branch managers ngayon especially ng restaurants."

"La Bonté! (Goodness!) He can just ask the regional managers to take care of that thing why does he have to be there?" I don't know either, Lucas loves to cook and he is more attentive with his restaurants than other else.

"I think he is planning to make some changes that is appropriate or befit with the season." The 'Ber' months just started and during these months lots of events na mangyayari. He decided to open a promotions, lottery, changing main dishes and et cetera.

"I see. Well, ever since he is more focused in his restaurants. Did you know that he opened that business? In just a few years he succeeded and built branches in different regions, states and counties." Natapos na namin ilagay sa lamesa ang mga pagkain naupo muna kami sa sofa habang nakikinig sa kwento niya. I have to learn more about my husband.

"Really?" Now this is one of a fact. Never knew about this one. Awesome, a real genius in business industry.

"Uhuh! I remember the day he pursued culinary but his dad was against it ad would like him to study business since we are dealing in distinct and expensive clothing line, hotels and resorts." And all of these is being manage by Lucas by himself. His father and grandfather are all retired so he is carrying all these responsibilities.

"Then defeated, Lucas was forced to enter the graphic designs. He was afraid that his dad would kick him out and will not gonna have his inheritance."

"He was an excellent tho, he was my senior back then. All of the students were amazed and look up high on him because he excelled in everything." Even I, was captivated and fell in love dangerously.

"He was born like that. He never failed on what he is doing, everything he does he always end up acing it. Tho his dad can't seem to see that, knowing the personality of his son made him vicious. You know he is our only son and Luciano couldn't accept him with that. I honestly don't like it either, but as a mother I accepted him because he is my son and I love him." So...Lucas and me are alike. I am loved by my dad while my mom is kinda harsh to me while him is loved by his mother yet his father being ruthless.

"That's why I was so happy when you walked in. You don't know how happy am I and Luciano when you agreed to marry our son." mangiyak ngiyak na sabi niya.

"No Mom. I am the one who is extremely happy for letting me marry him. Sure, I am having a hard time knowing what he really is but it really doesn't matter to me as long as I am by his side. I promise to take good care of him and to love him the way you want me to do."

"Oh Rouge." She carries my hair and hug me so I hug her back.

"Thank you so much." Thank you! For giving me this chance. 

Mga isang oras na nagtagal si Mommy Jean dito at nagkwentuhan lang kaming dalawa about kay Lucas marami din akong nalaman tungkol sa kanya na hindi ko pa alam. Umalis ito kasi uuwi daw siya sa bahay nila para bisitahin ang mga trabahador nito na naiwan doon.

Noon daw ay hindi naman talaga bakla ang anak niya nung nag high school lang naman daw ito lumadlad kasi puro na babae ang mga sinasamahan na mga kaibigan. Hindi din ito natutukan ng daddy niya kasi devoted ito sa trabaho niya, tyaka si Mommy Jean lang talaga ang andun upang gabayan siya. Hindi niya ito nagawang pigilan kasi nga ayaw naman niyang disiplinahin ang anak at tinanggap nalang ito ng buong puso. Ang bait nyang ina, yung tipong ibibigay lahat ng supporta sa iyo.
